Centrally located near the vibrant pedestrian streets. The atmosphere is dated and can be musty. Put on th AC to clear the air a bit. The rooms are spacious Service is nice. There is no noise. There is a complimentary drink in the bar. The value is good being in a central location. It has a busy atmosphere around the hotel but quiet in the room.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Xiamen. The hotel maintained excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards, and the disinfection measures were thoughtfully implemented, which made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of choices and high-quality food. As an IHG member, I especially appreciated the special menu options prepared exclusively for members, which added a personalized touch to the experience. I would also like to give special recognition to Manager Li, who provided exceptional service and showed great care and attention during our stay. The thoughtful assistance and warm hospitality made us feel truly welcomed. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations. The service, facilities, dining experience, and attention to detail were all excellent. I look forward to staying here again.

This hotel is very clean. It has clean bright bathtub, separate shower and a toilet with functioning biddet. Only down side is they do not provide instant coffee and creamer. All amenities are there for a cup of coffee except the instant coffee powderReceptionists are exceptionally helpful and friendly. One lady named Janice was particularly helpful and too time to explain in simple Chinese and English combination so I understand. Janice provided me good recommendations for things to do around Xiamen Another improvement for the room is that it is very dark. Some brighter lamps will help.

It has surprisingly nice amenities such as a large gym with a variety of equipments like rowing and elliptical machines besides the regular free weighs, treadmill etc. It also serves hot breakfast which we don't see in the US. Most of the staff was polite and helpful, especially the lady surnamed Xu who cleaned my room daily. She made sure I got what I needed. On the other hand it will be helpful to train and educate some of the attendants at the restaurant with proper manners by greeting customers instead of bluntly demanding to turn in their food vouchers. I also noticed one of the attendants picking their nose and teeth with their fingers. People handling food should be trained to pay attention to personal hygiene.

overall experience is unforgettable, but equipment can be Renewed since it is a relatively old hotel. Noise control and detailed cleaning can be better. Service by staff is always friendly and warm. Hope there can be a bar lounge served dessert and wine during night time

Pro : Staff service is good, room is clean and sound proofing is good too. Breakfast not bad but can have more variety. Con : We stayed for 3 nights but the IHG member menu for breakfast never changed. We have booked one Premium King Room with sea views and living area and is stated for 3 person ( in advertisements) but only had one king bed. We thought the room is stated for 3p definitely will provide bed for 3rd person but it didn’t, we have to pay extra RMB373 per night for the extra bed for 3rd person ( Total RMB 1119) and after putting the extra bed, room become no walkway. The hotel replied this room can be sleep for 3p but only will provide 1 bed. If 3p want to sleep comfortable then add extra bed and pay extra. I think the hotel shouldn’t advertise the room for 3p since no bed is provided for 3rd person.

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff - they went out of their way to give me recommendations based on my tastes and preferences. The room was OK, bed and pillows were comfortable, the bed linen was fresh and clean. The room was slightly dark, and some bulbs were blown and not working. Hotel electrician came to change the bulbs quickly, but it did not leave a good impression that some bulbs were blown in my room when I first entered. My main complaint is the gym - it is the WORST gym I have ever experienced in any international hotel chain. It was damp, smelly, the air had poor circulation, the gym equipment was almost non-existent, old or rusty, the gym was incredibly tiny and dark.

I had a great stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was delicious with a good variety of choices. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and great value for money. I would definitely stay here again
