As of August 2026, The Langham Place Xiamen is near Gaoqi international airport, about 15 minutes. This is set to change when the airport relocates by the end of 2026/ beginning of 2027. Catching a car to/from the airport to the hotel was about rmb40 to 65. Location of this hotel is at Huli and it is a little further away from the tourist attractions, which in fair honesty was the reason I chose it, as I didn’t want to be too close to the hustle and bustle. Car rides are easy to order and takes about 15 to 20 minutes or so, depending on traffic, to arrive at the older area of Siming. The hotel is conveniently located next to Wanda Plaza, a shopping mall that has a large Walmart supermarket, goldsmiths, some clothing and sports shop, Starbucks, kfc, chagee tea and other eateries. Next to it, is an alley of restaurants and snack places. Catching a car, it takes about 10 minutes to SM city and about 5 or so minutes to Powerlong City mall. What drew us to this hotel was that it was non smoking and had a family suite. The service was exceptional, with a particular mention to Camilia and Nora, who works in the Club Lounge. They were always most pleasant and friendly, despite the language barrier. Both made the stay enjoyable, Another mention goes to the lovely housekeeping lady that greeted us each morning with a smile and a friendly chat. Check in and concierge staffs were all very friendly and helpful. As we had a suite, it came with breakfast at the restaurant, afternoon tea at the L bar and happy hour at the club lounge, for 2 adults. There was also daily 2 pieces of laundry service, which was very useful as there was no laundromat facility nearby. Admittedly, breakfast was a little disappointing, and interior of the restaurant was a huge contrast to the rest of the hotel, However, afternoon tea and happy hour at the club lounge was both good. The room we had was a family suite, which included a room with a king size bed partitioned by 2 sliding doors which led to a room with a single bed. The room had a shared bathroom. Amenities were good and nothing was lacking, There was also a walk in wardrobe with a safe and an umbrella provided. Club access also offered complimentary mini bar, and there was a generous amount of bottled waters at the lift and within the room. There was tea making facilities and a nespresso machine. Other facilities that the hotel had was a 25m pool and a gym. I did not use either. The club lounge other than the lovely staff (Camilia and Nora) that manned it, had 2 massage chairs, a games room and an upstairs dining area.

I love Langham Place hotel XiaMen and enjoy every time I have the opportunity to stay there. The breakfast is so rich and tasty. The best espresso an European traveler can have in XiaMen, and the Jing tea is awesome. Rooms are spacious and well furnished, clean and light.

It's old 5 star hotel. The staff are friendly and politely throughout my stay. It is important to keep up standard. As I were told being cancelled mini bar service. After being feedback hotel staff, they are able to order it. The speed of internet are really not friendly. Especially I'm often use it for my online conference call. The room are old but still in comfort. Location of hotel is good . There are shopping mall nearby, close to airport.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any request. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay.The hotel's facilities were excellent, and the location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality shown by the entire team.The overall experience exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers. It is a beautiful hotel, with high-standard amenities and installations. The staff is very friendly and ready to help, although I speak Mandarin, speaking in English with them was a bit challenging sometimes. My only bad review is the F&B, low quality food, there is no 24/7 room service, it is only until 23:00 because one of the cooks finishes their duty hours. For a 5-star hotel, it is unacceptable, so I had to go and get some Dicos 15 mins away from the hotel. The breakfast is okay, good options but some stuff didn't seem fresh. The L Bar, I'm sorry but it was bad. As a 5-star hotel, they must have a proper bartender who knows how to make cocktails. The lady who made them was super lovely, but she really didn't have any idea of it. I had to return one of my drinks and order another one. Having vegan milk options is a must for this kind of hotels, so for the afternoon tea there wasn't any, only regular. At least the soy milk provided during the breakfast should be offered. But overall, the hotel is super nice, near the airport, huge gym and the executive room is beautiful.

We had a great stay here. We arrived in Xiamen much earlier than expected, but the hotel allowed us to check in around 11am, which was very helpful. The room was very clean and had a ton of high-end features. Staff were very helpful, though in most cases I had to use my broken Chinese to try to communicate when my wife wasn’t with me. My daughter and I used the swimming pool in the late evening, but it was mostly occupied by several serious swimmers as well as a private instructor with several students; not geared toward splashing and fun. My wife enjoyed the Chuan Spa Ritual. The breakfast was great too.

Stayed in an executive room. The view is fine nothing special. But the room is large, service is great and very responsive. Cleannies is also good. I also visited the 25th floor lounge. There are nice food options and beverage. The distance to airport isn't too long. I plan to stay again if making flight connection in Xiamen next tim

Had an awesome 4 nights stay with my family. Service and the room were fantastic. We booked 2 executive rooms and they came with free breakfast, tea-break and happy hour. A special shoutout to hotel attendee, lady with specs, on the 25th floor lounge! Loving her service and friendliness ! My family enjoyed and I highly recommend this hotel!
