I had an excellent stay at Marco Polo Xiamen during my business trip, and I was very happy with the overall experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, with plenty of restaurants, shops and other amenities nearby. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a long day at work. One of the highlights of my stay was having access to the Continental Club Lounge. It was a very comfortable and relaxing space, especially after a busy working day. The lounge facilities, refreshments and service made my stay even more enjoyable. It was also a nice place to sit, relax and spend some quiet time away from the busier areas of the hotel. The staff throughout the hotel, including the lounge team, were friendly, professional and always willing to help. I really appreciated their hospitality and consistently good service. The breakfast had a good selection of food, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and welcoming. I have stayed at Marco Polo Xiamen during several of my visits to Xiamen, and my experience has consistently been positive. It is an excellent choice for business travellers as well as those visiting Xiamen for leisure. Thank you to the entire Marco Polo Xiamen team, especially the Continental Club Lounge staff, for making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

We stayed on the Continental Executive Club Floor, and it offered excellent value for money. The complimentary afternoon tea and evening happy hour with drinks were a wonderful benefit and made our stay even more enjoyable.The hotel staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is also excellent—centrally located with easy access to taxis and Didi, making it convenient to get around the city.The only downside was that the room felt a little dated. In addition, the bathroom did not have a walk-in shower, so guests need to step over the bathtub to use the shower. This could pose a significant fall risk for senior guests or those with mobility issues.

Imagine you're sent to a new city in China, you've both been business travelers for 40 years, and your vendor INSISTS you stay at their favorite local hotel - the Marco Polo in Xiamen. Knowing their quality level, the bar is high. But we had no idea of the level of pampering and personal service we would receive! Every single person we met, from door openers to bakery staff, and especially the front desk, sales, concierge and Club Level restaurant, we were wowed every single day. They remembered our names. Greeted us like old friends. Were genuinely concerned about what they could do to better our stay. Our 7th floor Club level room was gorgeous, very spacious, well appointed. The food was marvelous and full of variety for our 2 week stay. But the people who worked there were the biggest bonus - Vincent & Bob - spectacular interactive support, bubbly problem-solver Karen - who welcomed us daily and helped us with travel contacts, Amy, Joy, Ella, Edward, Denise, Cary, Nancy, Owen, and so many of the Club Lounge attendants who pampered us and were beams of sunshine each day. We would stay nowhere else when visiting Xiamen again. With love from raving fans Mary & Joseph!

My partner and I stayed here for three nights in August, and what really stood out was how calm the setting felt compared to the crowded city center. Our favorite part by far was sitting by the big window during breakfast around 8:30 in the morning. We got a corner table on a warm sunny Tuesday, watching the water outside while enjoying big bowls of steaming broth with handmade noodles from the chef station. I ended up having two bowls of the spicy beef soup with pickled greens and fresh sliced mango, which was an extremely perfect way to start a slow vacation day. The peaceful neighborhood made it so nice to stroll right outside after eating before it got too hot. Our room was super clean with a definately comfortable bed, and we slept soundly every night without any street noise. We would happily book here again next summer.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Good location quiet neighborhood. Good Italian Restaurant in Hotel. Very helpful and courteous captain/lead waitress in breakfast coffee restaurant. Fantastic team at Concierge Desk.

The hotel is an older property and some room features are a bit outdated, but it is well-maintained, neat, and tidy. However, the real gem of this hotel is the staff. The concierge team was incredibly kind and helpful, and the front desk team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, welcoming, and always full of smiles. The location right next to the lake is fantastic, and major sightseeing spots are just a short DiDi or taxi ride away. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Xiamen and make sure to try out their steakhouse and Cantonese restaurant.

We had a pleasant stay in Marco Polo. They upgraded us to a continental room on the last floor with a nice view of the lake and city. The room was clean and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The lounge area is peaceful with lots of options for snacks and food. The buffet breakfast has many options of food and all of them were fresh and delicious. The pool and sauna are very well maintained. The hotel is also located near bars and cafes for late night drinks.
