The hotel is a five star property located in the city. Though its on a quiet street, the biggest mall of the city SM Plaza is a short walk away. Also there are many restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance. Though the property is slightly old, its well maintained and clean. The room was large with a good view of the city. The bed was confortable and provided with everything you may need. I was here for a short stay so didn't use their facilities like gym etc. The breakfast was separated into Chinese and Western sections. Though it was not upto standards of a five star hotel, it was not bad also. I liked the freshly prepared juices. They had live egg section. The staff were helpful and also could speak English. Overall a great option for a stay in this city and I would definitely stay again here for my next visit.

My story began the moment I checked into your hotel. During this business trip, I was carrying several frozen food products that I intended to bring back to Singapore. Unfortunately, I was unaware of Sheraton Xiamen’s policy that guests are not permitted to store personal food items in the hotel’s freezers. Despite this, your Front Office team handled the situation with exceptional professionalism, patience, and understanding. Instead of simply rejecting my request, they took the time to explain the policy clearly and went the extra mile to assist me in finding a suitable solution. Their positive attitude and genuine willingness to help left a lasting impression on me. It is evident that you have built and led an outstanding Front Office team. Every team member I encountered was warm, courteous, attentive, and highly professional. Their dedication to delivering exceptional guest service made my stay both comfortable and memorable. As someone who has worked in hospitality and customer service, I truly appreciate the effort required to cultivate such a service-oriented culture. The hotel is conveniently located...a short walk to SM Mall and also walking distance to Indiano John's Indian restaurant. The Filipino band in the lounge are great and the amenities are all adequate. The breakfast is varied. The room has a couple of rough spots but overall was quite good. The bed is firm but I slept okay.

Value for money stay despite aged property and inevitable wear and tear. Gym is good sized and equipped. Staff services were excellent. The lunch buffet was worth to try, especially if you like sushi.

The fitness facilities are horrid, no cleaning wipes, no water, machines under repair left open with tools and towels left there for days while we never saw anyone fix anything. old equipment, design from 1970s, pool was closed and under repair, again looked like a 1970s fitness area. The changerooms again were tired and worn and the people were in there showering looled like they were workers not guests. they had what unprofessional people hired to power wash the outdoor rusty equipment (honestly that equient ahould go to the dump) and they clearly didn't know what they were doing or howw to operated the power washer. A kid was using while 5 others stood around and watched in street clothes (no uniforms). The lounge was pathetic, nothing really to eat or drink was minimal especially for asia standards. Front staff were nice. We left early as it was a weird vibe and poor facilities

We stayed there for 4 nights and enjoyed it. Location is not in the downtown but still convenient with Didi share car services ( 8-9km to ferry pier and Chung wah walking street ). Staffs are kind and helpful and breakfast is sophisticated with enough choices. Thanks.

Helpful front desk staffs.Room is of wooden design.If the toilet/ bathroom door is not facing bed would be better.Nice breakfast, many selections can try many Xiamen delicacies.Overall great staying experience.

Another great stay at the Sheraton. Comfy and clean room, professional service. Stayed here a whole bunch of times and never disappointed.The swimming pool in this hotel is slightly smaller and a little more crowded than similar nearby, but the hot tub, steam room and sauna are all top quality.
