Tripadvisor· 17 years agoFor a quick bite, try Qinyu Roujiamo, a local favorite for the classic Chinese burger, and Weijia Liangpi for cold rice noodles. For a heartier meal, seek out Tongshengxiang Restaurant for lamb soup with crumbled bread, a Xi'an signature. The hotel is on Jinhua South Road, so nearby streets have noodle shops serving biangbiang noodles. For more variety, the Muslim Quarter around the Bell Tower is a short ride away, where you can find many food stalls and restaurants. These spots give you a real taste of local flavors without going far.
The hotel sits in a quiet, local part of Xincheng District, away from the tourist crowds. You are right by Xi'an University of Technology, and Xingqing Palace Park is about 1.25 km away, a pleasant walk for a break. The Shaanxi Tang Tricolor Pottery Art Museum is also close, at 1.26 km. The main sights like the Bell Tower and Giant Wild Goose Pagoda are roughly 5 km off, so you will take the metro or a taxi to reach them. The area feels residential and everyday, with a relaxed pace and easy access to the Xianninglu metro station for getting around.
From Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, take Metro Line 14 to Xi'an North Railway Station, then transfer to Line 2 toward the city center. Get off at a station near Jinhua South Road, such as Xianning Road or a nearby stop, and walk or take a short taxi to the hotel. From Xi'an Railway Station, use Metro Line 4 to connect to Line 2 or take a taxi directly, as the hotel is in the eastern part of the city. The hotel is on Jinhua South Road, so a ride-hailing service or pre-booked transfer is a straightforward option from either hub. The metro network covers the main stations, making the trip simple.
For a change of scene, the Bell Tower of Xi'an is 4.7 km away, where the area around it often has lively street food and night markets. The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, 4.9 km away, is another option, with its surrounding area known for evening strolls and cultural performances. Since these sights are a few kilometers out, a taxi or ride-hailing service is the easiest way to reach them after dark. You can also simply wander the streets near the hotel for local snack shops and casual eateries that stay active into the evening.
The hotel sits about 5 km from Xi'an's main sights, so it's a practical base if you plan to use transit or a taxi. The Bell Tower is 4.7 km away, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda 4.9 km, and the Shaanxi History Museum 5.0 km, all reachable by a short ride. The Fortifications of Xi'an and the Great Mosque are roughly 5.4 and 5.5 km out, so you'll want wheels for those too. The Terracotta Army site is 29.7 km east, best reached by a day tour or a pre-booked car. For a central, walkable location, you'd be farther out, but as a calm base with easy access to the city's highlights, it works well.
