Tripadvisor· 2 months agoI had a very pleasant stay at Novotel Xi’an Bell Tower. The hotel is completely smoke-free, which made the environment feel especially comfortable and fresh. What impressed me most was the service. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all very polite, friendly, and professional, which made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. The location is also excellent, with many of Xi’an’s main attractions within easy reach. The breakfast offered a good mix of Chinese and Western options, making it suitable for guests from different countries and regions. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely consider staying here again when I visit Xi’an.

Google· 6 months agoThe Vienna hotel is located very near to Bell Tower. The hotel room is cleaned, tidy and spacious. There is food court opposite the hotel. Overall service is good.

Tripadvisor· 5 months agoLet's start with the positives. We stayed 3 nights, great location, walking distance to Muslim street in 10 minutes and bell tower is even closer. Now the room with No view! It wasn't even no view it was a room that the window faced a wall that was 20 feet across. There was no natural light as the opening was at the top of the building. We were in room 318. Don't stay there. It was awful, it shouldn't even be a room, it should be a storage room and not charge guests for it. They try to make it a bit nicer by putting a tree there but there is no light. I didn't know if it was day or night. Buffet breakfast was ok. Everything was lukewarm warm, especially the fried options. If you want something hot, you need to order an omelette or a noodle soup. Options were decent.

Trip.com· 8 months agoI had a wonderful stay at Vienna Hotel (Xi'an Bell Tower) and I’m very satisfied with my overall experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely its location. It is within walking distance to the Bell Tower area, shopping streets, restaurants, and many local food options. It is also very convenient for transportation, with easy access to buses and the metro, which made exploring Xi’an very simple and stress-free. The room was clean, spacious enough, and well organized. The bed was very comfortable, and I had good quality sleep every night. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was important during my stay. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure and hot water available at all times. Housekeeping did a great job maintaining cleanliness throughout my stay. The staff were polite and helpful. Even if English communication was sometimes limited, they were patient and tried their best to assist me whenever I needed help. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. The WiFi connection was stable and fast enough for work and video calls. I also felt very safe staying here, as the hotel environment is quiet and secure. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to solo travelers, students, and business travelers who want a comfortable stay in a central location at a reasonable price. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xi’an.

Tripadvisor· 3 months agoGreat location, affordable, clean, and with a great breakfast buffet (not included in all rates). About 20 meters from Exit H of the Zhonglou subway station (lines 6 and 2). Note that Line 2 goes to the Gaotie (high speed rail) station, Xi'anbei), but the exit is much closer to the line 6 trains (it's a hike underground to get from the 2 to exit H, although still better than wrangling luggage on the street).

Tripadvisor· 6 months agoWe stayed at the Novotel Xian, The Bell Tower for 3 nights and found the location excellent, especially for the price. The rooms were a good size, clean and very modern. We found our room to be very quiet and never heard noise from outside, or any of the other of the guest rooms. Breakfast was adequate. We found the staff helpful - some spoke English and others we had to use a translator but they were always happy to help.

Tripadvisor· 7 months agoThis hotel does not have connecting rooms unless I got it wrong. Anyway, location is quite good as it’s a short walk to shopping and some of the attractions like Bell and Drum towers, City Wall, Muslim Quarter. There’s no proper drop-off and pick-up for cabs but no big deal cos cabs can stop at the side that is non-obstructive to traffic. The one advantage is that it has a small laundry room for hotel guests to do laundry FOC. Really useful if Xi’an is one of the cities during the trip so you can have fresh clothings for the next leg. One major downside of this hotel is the toilet cubicles and shower room doors in the hotel room-they are almost see through, to our astonishment! There is also a small window at the side of the bathroom that is behind the coffee machine is that is of the same material as the door. Person making coffee or boiling water there can see glimpses of the person showering. You see, the WC and shower cubicles are along the corridor, they are not inside A Bathroom. According to the hotel staff, it’s the one same kind of door for all the rooms in the entire hotel. They suggested to help us if we want to change to another hotel but honestly, the location is rather convenient. Breakfast spread was so-so, nothing too fancy.
