I stayed at the hotel for a 3-week long stay. The hotel has a modern design with lots of space and natural light in rooms and public areas. It has a relaxing ambiance. The pool area is incredible! Buffett breakfast has plenty of options and is tasty. All staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Special acknowledgment to Rahma, Hilal, Violeth and Devotha at the restaurant for always making me feel at home.

Such a beautiful hotel with such friendly staff. The food at the restaurant is such a highlight especially the waiter Soud who was such a pleasant person our entire stay. Staff always made sure to say hi to us and the housekeeping was always respectful about our things when they cleaned. We will be coming back here!

I had a quick stay at the hotel, just overnight for an early flight. Though hotel is market 5 stars, it definitely does not feel like one. Unfortunately, the quality and speed of service were poor. For me and the other guest, there were two large towels (one each) and only one hand towel (to share?). I had to ask for an extra one and it took an hour to bring it. While I booked a room with two beds, we arrived to see that our room had one large bed. In order to separate it into two beds, we had to wait for an hour. While we were rushing to leave at 5.00am, it took over 15 minutes for the luggage to be picked up and brought to the reception. On the night of our arrival I told the staff that we need luggage service to be at 4.40. Nonetheless, it did not happen and only after a number of requests, the super slow luggage service arrived. Causing unnecessary stress and pressure.

Amazing hotel with unreal skylines and landscapes. Staff are incredibly attentive and can't do enough for you. The rooms.. so clean and spacious with a genius bathroom design. Slightly outside of Stonetown, but they have a taxi service with Habibi which will take you anywhere you need. Very impressed overall.

This was my first time staying here. It was really close to the airport, which was very convenient. There isn't much to do in the area, and there is no beach nearby. However, there is a marina with many boats and even submarines. I was shocked to see submarines so close. That was the most unforgettable thing about this hotel for me. Unfortunately, I missed breakfast, so I can't comment on it, but my colleague said it was ordinary and nothing special. The room was quite large. My favorite part was the bathroom, which had a large window. There was also a big balcony with a sea view. The balcony was decorated with a rattan swing, which was really cute.

Pure Zanzibar magic—spice gardens, ocean breezes, and Swahili warmth everywhere. The customer care is outstanding, always going the extra mile with a smile. Perfect for family time—kids loved the pool, we loved the calm, and everyone felt at home. Only downside? My kids now demand coconut rice for every meal.! 😄"

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Verde and would highly recommend it. The hotel itself is excellent very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The facilities are modern, the rooms are spacious, and everything is thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel comfortable. What truly made my stay special was the staff. Every team member was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. A special mention goes to Suleiman, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. He was extremely polite, attentive, and genuinely caring, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. His professionalism and positive attitude really stood out and made a big difference. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar.
