I spent the last two weeks at the Kivuli Beach Resort and I already miss the incredibly beautiful time I had there. I was welcomed like a friend and felt very much at home. The resort has a very natural feel; the old trees have been preserved, providing shade, and the sound of the wind blowing through the branches creates a soothing rustle. |The rooms are spacious and kept very clean, and the bathroom is modern. Everything was cleaned thoroughly every day, and fresh towels were provided upon request. The air conditioning works perfectly and is very quiet. The beds were prepared for the night. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. They prepared local dishes for us on request, and once we were even allowed to watch the chef and were introduced to the local cuisine. The entire staff was very attentive and friendly; every wish was fulfilled whenever possible. The grounds are guarded by Maasai, who provide a sense of security day and night. I highly recommend the Kivuli Beach Resort and look forward to coming back very soon. |To the dear resort family: Please preserve your special, welcoming atmosphere!

Dream Location & Top-Notch Service at Kivuli Beach Resort! 🌴✨ Kivuli Beach Resort in Paje is the perfect choice for a relaxing holiday in Zanzibar. If you are looking for a peaceful oasis right on the beautiful Paje beach, this is absolute perfection. What impressed us the most: • Prime Beachfront Location: Just a few steps from the powdery white sand and turquoise ocean – ideal for beach walks, kitesurfing, and pure relaxation. • Peaceful Atmosphere: Despite being close to everything, the resort is pleasantly quiet and offers the ideal setting to unwind. • Great for Families & Couples: Whether you are on a romantic getaway as a couple or traveling with family, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and very relaxed. • Exceptional Service: A huge compliment to the staff! The entire team is extremely friendly, professional, and attentive to every need. An all-around fantastic hotel in Paje that we highly recommend. We would love to come back!

Kivuli is a beautiful and calm place with lovely bungalows and a peaceful atmosphere, especially in low season. Some bungalows are more private than others, but overall the surroundings, the sea, and the location are excellent and still close enough to reach lively areas on foot. The staff is kind and professional, with special thanks to Daima for her warmth and effort at breakfast. There are a few organizational gaps and some inflexibility, but the team is clearly trying to improve. Overall, a very nice place with great potential.

Pros: directly at beach, good restaurant, community with kite school and public area, also privacy with amazing bungalows amidst trees, pool Minus: not so easy to find on arrival, need sign at road. Follow sign to Monica place nearby and make right on last fork of road. It really has everything, you can have the most private stay among forest almost while still at beach - and then also community with kite school at one end of large property. Kind and friendly staff, and very spacious areas. Can’t wait to be back!

Kivuli has everything to be a great hotel, but I can say that my experience was terrible! Hotel staff is amazing, friendly and very kind, food is amazing, but manager does a terrible job! Basic stuff doesn’t work: No hot water in the shower, we needed to ask thousand times to correct that, and when they corrected, after ONLY ONE shower, shower water started to be cold again! They allowed us to take a shower in another room, and the shower water was also cold!! In a certain moment, they asked us to move for another room with our stuffs, and in the following morning, during my tour, manager called me saying that I must back to the previous room (the one that the hot water in shower was not working), and after a fight by phone and after I say that I didn’t allow nobody touch my stuff without me, during my tour, he said that I could stay the in new room, “solving my issue”, acting like a superman!!! After the bother me during my tour! I planed this vacation to relax and have good moments, and with Kivuli manager I had exactly the opposite! He needs first to know how to manage a hotel! And know that hot water in the shower is a basic thing, mainly for Kivuli price!!! Issues like that can happen but they need to be solved quickly and efficiently, and not keep the issue repeating And there is no internet in the rooms, just in the reception!!

Hotel is great and I was enjoying to stay there. It’s a perfect location in quiet place, but if live music or all night party needed - there are multiple other beachfront hotels not far away. I’m glad we stayed in Kivuli resort and have had a private oceanfront villa. Staff is great and always ready to help. The chef is fantastic and you have a lot of options to pickup up. Otherwise I strongly recommend this resort and when I be back I will be happy to stay in Kivuli resort again! |5 out of 5!!!

What a wonderful experience! Everything was perfect, from the magnificent private villa to the butler and his team. We truly enjoyed the tranquility, the exquisite breakfast with the sea view, and the kindness of the entire crew.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom family villa. Such a comfortable and private stay. Our private butler (Kayphas) was always available to supported our every request with precision. The villa is huge with full kitchen, private pool and the most amazing outside shower in each bedroom.
