For an evening out, start at the hotel's Rooftop Lounge Bar with its panoramic Indian Ocean views, or dine at The Terrace Restaurant for Swahili, Continental, and Indian dishes. The gelato and coffee shop offers a sweet end to the day. Just steps away, the Old Fort is a 1-minute walk, and Forodhani Gardens, a lively night food market, is close by for casual bites. The Zanzibar Night Market is also within easy reach for more local flavor. Farther sights like Zanzibar Park (5.3 km) are best reached by taxi or tour, keeping your evening simple.
