It was a one night stay as we were heading to the airport the next morning. It was great for exploring shops and the town of Zurich. Great location, great decor, I loved the yoga mat. The bed was comfortable. We loved the toilet closet with bidet. Breakfast was okayyy.. Overall, we would stay again and recommend staying here for a short stay.

This is a wonderful hotel & I would give it 6 stars if I could. It is very conveniently located within walking distance of the train station. The rooms are very charming & cozy. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious & had a good variety of items to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel & cannot say enough good things about it.

Fantastic Hotel! Super central and well located between train and old town. Rooms were perfect, attention to detail was phenomenal, all the unique amenities, like slippers, complementary water, ambient lighting, vanity kits, and coffee and mini bar station. Service was great! Virginia at the front desk, especially. The breakfast was great as well, freshly squeezed, orange juice, and an omelette station. They also catered for gluten-free bread options. I did have the most expensive mint tea of my life. 10 franks for a tea bag and hot water… but it’s Switzerland I guess.

Nice little boutique hotel walking distance to the central train station of Zurich. Location wise is very strategic. Food & shopping all around. The hotel is ok. Fully equipped with essentials. Staff & services provided is good. There's a restaurant in the hotel, never got to try it.

Monday, September 7, 2026 Mr. Matthias Ramer, General Manager Dear Mr. Ramer, My travel agent has recommended your fine hotel and after reading a good many of your former guests glowing reviews, I can quite understand why. Last Wednesday, the 4th., I was in need of some additional information about your hotel, and with my travel agent unavailable, I called the hotel's office, and spoke to an employee named Therese(please forgive me if the spelling is incorrect). She was so kind to me. So patient in answering more than a few questions for me. Such a lovely, young lady. Even though it was a business call, she made me feel as if we were good friends having a lovely little chat. Such charm. Such warmth. I now have such a good feeling about the Hotel Seidenhof, that I am so very eager to arrive on Monday, September the 21st. to meet everyone and to thank Therese in person. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast setting and choices. Great location between old town and train station. Boutique hotel and lives up to expectations. Rooms a good size with well appointed bathrooms. Would stay again.

Excellent hotel. Good location. Easy to get to everywhere in Zurich from there. Room was lovely. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. Really helpful with booking excursions. They went the extra mile to make our stay superb. Highly recommended.

After spending a long time looking for a hotel in Zurich I'm really pleased we booked the Seidenhof. Location was perfect for us, a short walk from the train station, shopping and the old town with bars and restaurants within a short walk. We booked a larger room with kitchenette, the room was very clean, well maintained and looked like the photos online. We are light sleepers and our request for a quiet room was met and the room was indeed very quiet, thank you very much! Hotels in Zurich are expensive but we felt very pleased with our choice of the Seidenhof as compared to others of a similar price point the room was a good size, modern, quiet and breakfast is included. We would certainly return, thanks for a great stay.
