I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I booked a five-night stay expecting the level of service and cleanliness promised by a five-star hotel, but unfortunately, the experience has been completely unacceptable. The housekeeping service is extremely poor. The room was not cleaned properly, the floors were dirty, and there was a very unpleasant smell throughout the room. Even the swimming towels were dirty and had visible stains on them, which is unhygienic and unacceptable. The water kettle in the room was also extremely dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly. Every day, I had to ask the staff to provide tissues for both the bathroom and the bedroom, yet these basic supplies were still not consistently provided. What made the situation even worse was that I repeatedly requested to speak with the hotel manager or any available person in charge, but the staff refused to allow me to meet or speak with anyone from management. This shows a serious lack of professionalism and concern for guests. A hotel claiming to be five-star should provide five-star standards of cleanliness, service, hygiene, and customer care. Unfortunately, this hotel has failed in all these areas. As of 8 September 2026, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The management should urgently investigate the housekeeping standards, the condition of the rooms and facilities, and the way guests’ complaints are handled.

Had to unexpectedly spend the night here after flight disruptions in ZRH. Was positively amazed by the looks and feel of the hotel. Front Desk staff was very friendly and helpful in getting the last minute booking sorted. Executive Lounge was decently stocked during operational hours. Breakfast had very decent options and choices. Breakfast seating area was sublime. Continued to spend the morning before my rebooked flight on the cozy terrace outside. Would recommend! I do want to highlight Deyenor, he made the stay even better, he was working the breakfast area and then the bar. Great attitude, good talks and a killer bartender!

The hotel is modern, stylish, and beautifully renovated. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived, especially thanks to Panagiotis at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and truly went the extra mile to make our stay special. Since it was our first time in Zurich, Panagiotis kindly recommended some great places to visit and shared helpful tips about the hotel and the city. He even gave us some wonderful advice for our next destination, Santorini, Greece, as he is from there himself! He was a pleasure to talk to and made us feel genuinely welcome. Excellent service, great hospitality, and a beautiful hotel—highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

As a frequent Marriott customer this is my favorite hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself is decorated with the artistic touch of a museum and the entire hotel smells so amazing. The service at this hotel is what really takes the cake. As a service professional myself, I was amazed at the beyond exemplary service provided at the Renaissance and its truly the heart of why my stay was so amazing. Panagiotis was incredibly kind, and took the time to attentively give me recommendations on the hidden gems of Zurich and how to get to them. He was incredibly professional, detail oriented, and knowledgeable. I am very grateful for being able to stay at this amazing place and highly recommend it to any travelers. Cannot wait to be back!
