Had an awesome experience here the host Andreo was super nice and super helpful, even let us keep our bags in a safe location. He also let us check in a bit early so we could leave our bags and hit the town. The location is amazing with everything you wanna do in Zürich within a walking distance. I even saw him sweeping up trash in the streets, which is just outstanding. Everyone else staying there was super fun and it was a great community. I made a lot of friends and I will definitely be staying there again.

Having booked without reading the reviews beforehand, I was quite surprised by the condition of the place. Everything is managed through WhatsApp, with no staff present on-site, which makes the experience feel particularly impersonal. Upon arrival, you find a run-down hostel in a building that appears half-abandoned, right in the middle of Zurich’s red-light district. Several broken beer bottles were scattered around the entrance, and a group of drug users smoking crack partially blocked access to the front door. The rooms are small, poorly ventilated, and lack air conditioning. The atmosphere feels more like a long-term residence for people struggling to get by than a youth hostel where travelers can meet and socialize. It made for a particularly unpleasant night, especially as my bunkmate woke up several times during the night to smoke crack right in his bed. The place is not outright dirty, but it gives off a general sense of neglect and sadness. For a property in Zurich, the price may seem competitive at first glance, but it remains far too high considering the quality of the experience. Overall, it was a disappointing stay that I would not recommend.

We booked a double bed from this hostel for our recent trip. We came in the morning and thought we could at least leave our backpacks there and go out for breakfast. But no, we had to pay 10€/backpack (20€ for both) just to leave them. If we want to check in early, we have to pay 50€/person. How ridiculous is this? I booked a double bed, not 2 single beds. Besides that, the hostel is small but about 20 ppl were staying there. Always noisy. Have to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour in the kitchen for a chance to cook. If you don't have any choice, you can stay here. But if you have, even pay a little bit more, you absolutely should book somewhere else and get a better service. Don't save a few € and even end up paying much more like me. Worst experience. Never come back. Such a scammer.

In city center which is the only thing going for it. |Located over a smoke shop.|I rented 2 apartments.|Not clean, 1 hair dryer broken, the other had a plug that didn’t fit the wall with no adapter! Bugs in refrigerator, hair on bed sheets.|The entry of my apartment looked like a storage facility, with boxes and all sorts of items piled on top of each other, a perfect insect breeding ground.|Instructions to check in and check out were like following some sort of scavenger hunt, with no chance of success. The “clear video instructions were a joke. It honestly felt like it had been designed by a small person on a power trip. I was provided different apartment floor information by 2 separate representatives, so the check in /check out lock box information didn’t work and of course they tried to blame us for everything.|I am an educated person, and have extensively traveled. I am certainly no fool. This entry/exit situation was absolutely beyond.|Even when we told them our sheets had hair on them and one of the room stank, he just told us to change the sheets ourselves and spray some deodorant that was in the closet.|My drawer meant for my toiletries held a used toilet plunger and soap was empty. Street noise was so loud that it was impossible to keep the windows open at night. A tiny fan was provided, entirely inadequate considering location.|I asked for an extra pillow due to a neck injury. My request was ignored.|It is abundantly clear that the owner has never once spent a night in either of these apartments. It was horrible, and the most infuriating part is that the owner absolutely couldn’t have cared less. His only attempt to rectify anything was to possibly have a maid come by to spray the same deodorant he mentioned in our closet. Not even an offer to actually clean the place! |DO NOT STAY HERE.

Bunk bed is acceptable with clean sheets. Owner is friendly and good but you need to submit your passport first before pass code is given. Location is too far from Zurich HB Central train station. Another setback is lift is out of order and you have to climb 4 levels. If you have big luggage, it is tiring. Washer, cooking stove, fridge is available.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! DON‘T BOOK IN HERE! 1. the location is unsafe. Weird places, everything is souspicious, ghe worst zone of Zurich with no signal on phone. 2. I couldn‘t find the adress of the hostel, so I tried called but no answer. I wrote asking for help, AND NO ANSWER. NEVER. Was it a scam? I think so!! You don‘t have to pay in advance, gladly. But I had contacted the via whatsapp and they gave me info about my booking, also asked for some personal info. At the beginning it looks like they‘re having communication with the guest but then they give no answer when it‘s time for your check in. Don‘t waste time trying to book here. Not worth it. Your safety is first, and I don‘t recommend walking in those streets of Zurich, nor having to deal with poor service at an apparently cheap hostel that I never found on the streets cause I saw no signal of it Just awful, and leaves with many doubts.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. Awful experience. As three women traveling it was brought a lot of negative emotions. We were greeted with a man winking at us and saying things. Then quickly after met a woman who was half naked telling us how awful the place was. Including how people stole stuff, police would come in here and arrest people. Unsure of how true this is, but with our prior greeting I didn’t feel comfortable with staying here. Been to MANY hostels, none of them quite like this environment.
