Spent one night here on my drive up to Porto from Lisbon. Easy check in. Free parking in garage across the street (not many places have free parking, so this was a plus). They have a bar upstairs with an outside veranda, views of Coimbra proper. The room was comfortable. Nothing too fancy. The bathroom is a bit small. The shower fits one person okay enough (I’m 5’6”, 145 lbs, if that gives you some perspective). Just be aware some showers are small and it is not a tub (in my room at least). But all I needed for one night. They have a breakfast (that was included in my stay) upstairs in the morning. They had a good selection of meats and eggs and breads and yogurt and cereal. Overall a decent place to stay.

The location is a little bit down market for what is an otherwise excellent hotel. Clean and well appointed with extremely helpful and friendly people on reception. The parking is a 2 minute walk away and is in an underground car park with lots of pillars and tight corners, so take it steady.|There are a couple of decent places to eat nearby and its not far to walk to the pedestrianised area etc. We caught an Uber up to the university from here and walked back down via the various sights. To walk up in the heat would be impossible for a couple hitting their seventies and those back streets are very steep.|The breakfast was okay but let down by the synthetic fruit juice.

The rooms were nice with large bathrooms and a great view. It was in a good location, walkable to everything, but not on the hill. It also has garage parking included, which was a convenient walk across the street. There was a rooftop with good views and bar service. The espresso martinis were very delicious. The breakfast was very good, with warm, tasty eggs, lots of baked good options.

Location: Great FREE Parking: Very convenient Staff: Extremely friendly. They responded quickly when I requested extra blankets and asked about check-in/out. Room Condition: Very similar to the photos on the website. The bathroom is a bit small but wasn't too uncomfortable, though the showerbooth definitely needs improvement. About booking: For my next visit, I plan to call the property directly to make a reservation Special things: Good breakfast and have a excellent rooftop.

Little hotel by the road side. Parking is free but it’s opposite building. Can park the car in front of hotel to unload luggage first. Staff speaks English and friendly. Room has no free water and fridge. Bed is comfortable n firm enough. The location is close to some attractions. However the room facing road is very noisy even when staff told me is not. Motorcycle n people walking past rounding loudly can be heard even late at night. We had bad night sleep. A room facing inwards would be better!

Front desk staff speak good English and are friendly, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. They also gave great recommendations for lunch and dinner at ACapella, which we really enjoyed. The highlight of the stay was the rooftop, which offers a wonderful night view, especially overlooking the university. Noteworthy details include free parking, which is very convenient for those driving. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Came with group from Ireland. Staff working in hotel were excellent, particularly Andre in reception ,who along with his colleagues was very helpful and looked after us very well.|Lots of variety at breakfast bar and staff they’re very good too. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Location was ideal for exploring Coimbra and its surroundings. Would definitely return. Many thanks. Paula.
