It would be a serious mistake to expect 5-star service from this place. The houses seem to be made of plywood — the soundproofing is practically nonexistent. And this matters, because your Sunday morning will start at 5:30 a.m. with the sound of your neighbors doing their morning exercises. Then the children will start running around and making noise. At 8 a.m., the gardener will start trimming the lawn. Every single one of these sounds will come straight into your room as if there were no walls at all. A secluded place surrounded by nature where you can escape the noise of the city and relax? Forget it. It is actually noisier here than in the center of a big city. There is neither proper soundproofing nor management that seems capable of considering the comfort of their guests. Apart from that, it is an average 3-star hotel. But 5 stars? Absolutely not

Spent 3 days 2 nights at the resorts. My parents don't like the location because it's far from everything, but my husband & I really enjoyed it. Very quiet, relaxing premises. Rooms are quite on the old side, but clean. It feels like the old Đà Lạt in my memory here, cool temp, misty morning, scent of pine, hilly walks between flowers. The city center lost this charm, so the resort 100% met my expectations. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We had most of meals at the resort restaurant. Every lunch and dinner feels like we're the only customers haha.

I am writing this to warn fellow travelers about the unprofessionalism and deceptive practices at Dalat Edensee. We stayed in Room 164 (Feb 19-20), and it was a 5-star disaster.|Here is the truth behind their "luxury" facade:|1. Lies & Privacy Issues: The Front Office Manager lied, claiming they sent staff to pack our bags without our consent. We returned to find nothing was touched. Why lie about entering a guest's room?|2. Operational Chaos: They failed to call our mobile number regarding checkout. They booked us a 2 PM shuttle but provided NO details on where to board, causing us to miss it and pay for a private taxi.|3. Incompetent Advice: They gave wrong walking times to "Happy Hill" and were "clueless" about holiday crowds. Total lack of local professional knowledge.|4. Extorting Fees: Despite waiting 20+ mins for their own buggy (which caused our delay), they forced us to pay a late checkout fee. They admitted it was their error but refused to refund us—absolutely absurd.|5. TAX FRAUD? Most shockingly, the Rooms Operations Manager tried to deceive us by claiming "Vietnam does not issue VAT invoices to individuals." Only after we confronted them did they admit they were "wrong."|6. Missing Invoice: It has been days, and despite their "promises," the legal VAT invoice (Hóa đơn đỏ) has still not been sent to my email.|To the General Manager of Dalat Edensee: I am still waiting for a full refund of the unfair charges and my legal invoice. I have already prepared reports for the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) and the Tax Department.

Beautiful resort with a stunning lake view and very peaceful surroundings. Perfect for couples who want to relax and unwind. The room and common areas were clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly, polite, and always helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. Loved the quiet atmosphere and nature vibes. A great place to slow down and enjoy quality time together. ❤️

This resort is beautifully surrounded by a lake and forest, making it a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The Jasmine lake view room was absolutely lovely and very comfortable. The scenery is stunning, especially when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. One of the most memorable moments was watching the peacocks gracefully wandering around the property. The staff were warm and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to relax, enjoy nature, and unwind. I would happily stay here again.

THE WORST VILLA IN VIETNAM! Very poor service and very disappointing experience. We traveled almost 6 hours to Da Lat for our vacation and already paid for the hotel, but upon arrival they suddenly asked for passports without properly informing us in advance. We had 3 physical copies of passports and the others had digital copies, but they refused to accept them. As foreign travelers, we prefer keeping our passports in a safe place because losing them abroad is a huge problem. Nowadays, digital copies should at least be considered. The other 3 guests could not provide physical passports because their passports are currently in immigration for visa processing. The receptionist told us we could cancel the booking and still get a refund, so we followed their instructions. But after canceling, they suddenly rejected the refund and we lost almost 32,000 PHP. We also waited almost 3 hours because they kept saying they would contact the manager, but nobody came. To make things worse, it was also my sister’s birthday celebration trip and this hotel completely ruined it. Very unprofessional, poor communication, and a complete waste of our time, money, and special occasion. I would never recommend this hotel to foreign travelers.

Such a shame, a resort poorly managed and not maintained. We booked two rooms, same category in the same hotel: one of the room is ok but the second room clearly is not the same category : - no window (!) which is even acknowledged by the staff by written - AC only in the small creepy corner of the smaller bed so no AC in the main areas of the big bed (we never asked to have a triple room - and its clear its not our booking as this room never appear on the website of the hotel or on Agoda We complained at the reception - they lied to us MANY times saying the hotel we full, and we had to show them it was not based on their own website … they could finally propose after many discussions: - a horrible room with view on the parking and LOWER category ; they tried to pretend as well it was same category and we had to show them (again) their own website to prove not - ⁠a room much nicer that we agreed to move on, but after the agreement they asked us for a ridiculous surcharge that was never mentioned - ⁠a room in another building VERY dirty with BIRD POOP everywhere in the room, even in the cup of coffee and in the bed - They just replied : “oh the cleaning ia not done yet”. It’s not a matter or cleaning but a matter of HYGIENE and SAFETY ! And obviously they don’t understand it. The employee I chatted with on messenger told me the General Manager is coming to manage the issue. But one more lie : the receptionist told us there is no general manager in this hotel … So basically we staid in a room that is not what we paid for ! You buy business class and you travel in economy, and they don’t care at all. And also : - very dangerous pool (cold and not heated) with many broken tiles - all the sofa bed are broken ok the pool area and changing room are super dirty - ⁠dirty garden with garbage and trash - ⁠no cushion and mattress on the outdoor furniture (we asked for it and was never delivered it) On the good things: - food is really good - some employees are really nice and friendly - beautiful location and surroundings — Answer to the reply of the hotel: sad that you decided to stop all communication with us after sharing the issues ; sad that the senior manager disappeared after taking one hour to meet us ; sad that you have no capacity for customer service and had to lie to us ; sad we have to escalate the issue to Agoda who admit the issues.

We had a good experience at Edensee! Our rooms were clean upon arrival, loved everything that was included in the stay. We were pleasantly welcomed and greeted by hotel staff, had a tea break and a lovely breakfast. The lake area and gardens are amazing to stroll around, immersive and very peaceful. The work and care for flowers and rose gardens are wonderful too. You can also take an electric hybrid boat and have a scenic ride along the lake.☺️ 🙏 Few things that were a bit of a letdown, like the facilities are outdated, gym and pool are poorly maintained. Lots of mold and dampness in common areas. Piano which is questionably for display only? Very sad how beautiful architecture and furniture is tarnishing... There are around ~40 peacocks roaming the territory, they are beautiful creatures and are pleasant to look at, but their mate /alarm calling can be extremely annoying at night time and during dusk. Cool, moist air bends sound downward instead of dispersing it, and the location in hills can echo the sound, therefore it feels really loud at dusk and really disturbs your sleep 😅 It kinda shows that management might not care about your wellbeing, but rather prioritize maintaining photogrammable things like flowers and peacocks...hope you can shift your focus and attention on more important things 🙏
