La cristalina de Juancho
La Cristalína de Juancho is a small rural hiking and camping spot tucked into the mountain countryside of Vereda Juancho, in the municipality of Íquira on the western slopes of Huila, Colombia. Far from a ticketed attraction, it is the kind of place travelers seek out to genuinely switch off: a trailhead in working farm country where you walk, pitch a tent by a stream, and lose sight of the road behind you. The setting is the draw. Íquira is a high, green municipality threaded with quebradas and small rivers, and the name La Cristalína evokes exactly what visitors come for: clear mountain water in an unspoiled landscape. Reviewers describe it as an excellent base for agro-tourism, ecological camping and low-key outdoor recreation, with the welcome caveat that there is no phone signal at all here.
