Ojo de Agua Lampazos
Ojo de Agua Lampazos is a spring-fed recreation park in the heart of Lampazos de Naranjo, a small town in the semi-arid far north of Nuevo León. Built around a natural eye of water—an 'ojo de agua'—the municipal balneario turns a desert oasis into a family day out, with pools, water slides, a wave pool, picnic grills under tall sabinos, and a zip-line circuit running through the trees. About two hours from Monterrey, it is one of the region's favorite weekend escapes from the city heat, and an easy, low-cost stop for travelers heading across northern Nuevo León. Visitors rate it as a friendly, well-kept green space that is great for kids.
