Culture of Golden Heart Association, known locally as Thanh Long Tu (Chùa Thanh Long Tu), is a Vietnamese Buddhist temple and community wellness center in southwest Houston. The temple welcomes visitors of all backgrounds to pray, burn incense, and meditate in a peaceful setting, while also offering Blue Dragon Kung Fu classes and a free herbal medicine clinic. What sets this temple apart is its open-door spirit: the doors are left open so anyone who wants to worship, light incense, or sit in quiet reflection can step inside without appointment. Elderly nuns tend the altar daily, and the community here treats newcomers with genuine warmth.
