This hotel was lovely and the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect right beside the cathedral and many other attractions. It's in the historical building so there is no elevator and a few easy stairs like in most such hotels. The staff was happy to help with the luggage and we are thankful. The room was upgraded and didn't feel like 100 years old. There is a parking for a few cars but the entrance was a bit tricky for us; we didn't want to risk the rental and left our car 100 meters from the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with good selection. We would stay there again if we are in the town.

An absolutely amazing historic property—the fact that the building has ancient Roman walls integrated right into its foundation is incredibly cool. We had a fantastic stay here. The breakfast was excellent, and the young, hip, and energetic staff were wonderfully welcoming and full of great energy. The only constructive tip I’d add is for the public terrace: since not every room has a private balcony, it would be awesome if they put some daybeds, loungers, or extra umbrellas out on the main terrace so guests can fully enjoy that outdoor space. Highly recommend staying here

I just spent the weekend at Noble House in Evora for a solo respite and highly recommend choosing the property for the location, value, and service. Filipe Coelho was very helpful before my trip via email to confirm my arrival time and even had the room ready for early check in. He gave me a tour and I was pleased to have a larger space with more amenities than requested. At the end of my stay, he held my bag and then contacted taxi service to transport me to bus station. When they did not arrive, he left his lunch break to contact another company & verify the car arrived. I had privacy and comfort during my stay-the breakfast looked amazing though I opted to eat out and tried many of the recommended cafe's Filipe suggested. I will return again to this quaint & convenient space as it is within the walls but enough away from the busy touristy square.

Our stay was a delightful and memorable experience which really enhanced our first trip to Portugal. The enchanting historical hotel so near the Roman Temple and the cathedral was magical. And the breakfast provided by the hotel was exceptional. The staff were all very friendly and so helpful. THANK YOU Noble House.

Whether this hotel gets a better review will depend on the room you get. Being in an old building the room types are uneven. Same category can get you a great one with balcony or terrace (for which you'd likely get a rave review) or a basic one with no view. We had a room on second floor (#14) facing a narrow side street and building right on the other side. Noisy when someone walks below and talking. Room echos a lot so can hear next room or people in the hallway outside. Tile floor with no carpeting which is good and just enough space to do yoga or stretches. Plenty of outlets, wifi adequate. There is a coffee machine but no tea or kettle, one bottle of drinking water. High ceilings so at least the room didn't feel as oppressive as it's dark with not much lighting. Location is good, walkable to center. Breakfast adequate with standard continental.

We just returned from our stay in Evora, what a lovely town it is. Historical and very laid back in a true Alentejo style and food is a completely different and delightful saga!Noble house is 15th century gem, extremely convenient and is comfortably situated for an enjoyable stay at Evora. Being a historical building, one has to be prepared to embrace the adaptations made to the building to cater for the modern day living, so expect plenty of charm and scarcity of linear scandi architecture. Staff, absolutely ran off their feet to please, from special breakfast to cater for the food allergies to changing rooms and treating us for hours as their guests after the formal check out ensuring we are dry after our errands in heavy rain, well hydrated and fed. My 2 children were thrilled with the comfort, particularly notable on those 2 very rainy days we experienced. All of us enjoyed the delectable breakfast that had all one could expect of an honest continental style breakfast paired with tranquil views over the town land and roof scapes. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness!

Atmospheric and comfortable boutique hotel, 2 minutes walk to the cathedral. Try to arrive early so that you can get one of their 6 parking spaces, otherwise you will need to park out of the old town walls.
