Good option if you’re looking for affordable accommodation in Girona, especially because of its location within walking distance of the Old Town, the Cathedral, the city walls and the train station. For budget travelers, it’s hard to find many places at a similar price in such a convenient area. The rooms are simple and functional, but there are some drawbacks. The WiFi was practically unusable during my stay, and the lock on my room door was not working properly, which made me feel less secure. The showers are basic and the facilities are fairly minimal, so don’t expect the level of comfort you would find in a modern hostel. That said, everything was reasonably clean and the location is one of the biggest advantages. If your priority is exploring Girona, spending most of your day outside and keeping accommodation costs low, the value for money is still quite good. Just come with realistic expectations and you’ll probably find it does the job.

Staying in Girona to attend an event nearby. Not a bad location for general tourism in the region. Location:|This hostel is in a great location, close to the old town and just a short walk from buses and the train station. While I didn’t have a car, parking options are available nearby for those who need them.|Room/Comfort:|The hostel room was clean but not very modern. The beds were tightly packed, making it difficult to move around—especially with luggage—and entering or exiting discreetly was a challenge. The door was unconventional, and locking/unlocking it was noisy, which could be disruptive when others were trying to sleep.|There weren’t enough plug sockets for guests, and the only light source was the main light, which isn’t ideal for a hostel environment.|Facilities:|Lockers are available for free, both inside and outside the rooms, though I’m not sure how they are allocated—presumably based on availability. There’s a dining area and kitchen on both floors, but they’re only accessible when staff are on duty (not during the day or early morning). The kitchens weren’t well-equipped—cups and clean cutlery were hard to find—and I personally wouldn’t cook there due to cleanliness concerns.|Service:|I only interacted with staff during check-in, but they were polite and friendly.|Extras:|Breakfast was included and continental-style, with cereals, toast, ham, cheese, and spreads. However, on one morning, breakfast wasn’t available, so don’t rely on it.|Final Note:|I struggled with the internal main door on the upper floor—it required a specific trick to unlock (something about pulling it), which I never quite figured out.

I wish i can rate it with less than 1 star What a horrible and scary night it was!! It felt like a horror movie when the protagonist goes to some scary place and meet crazy mentality ill people. when i came back to sleep at night, i saw 2 zombies sitting on the kitchen chairs!!! What a horrible and creepy view it was I don't know what they were, they were sitting naked on the chair and looking dead!! Is the hustle is keeping homeless drug addicts at night or what? And They gave me no blankets, rooms are so old with no electricity near the bed. The only good thing is the reception is kinda nice. BUT I DON'T RECOMMEND!

A normal hostel experience, nothing special. But the bathrooms and hallways are kept clean and tidy considering the price. I was pleasantly surprised by the included breakfast.

It was the worst hostel experience in my life.I chose this hostel just because it was fhe cheapest but never choose this.I booked it for 2nights, and on my first night i couln’t fall asleep because of noise next to me so I asked receptionest to change room but he just woke him up and said stop snoring but how could it work like that… no cleaness no service.. so i just left in the next morning i just checked out and went another hotel for my second night

Generally nice place. Breakfast was simple but good. If you are a princess you will rate it 1 star (matress has pilling felt thru the sheets, light switch are a bit grimy), if you are a college bro 5 stars. The kitchen was functional and (college dorm) clean. Realize that these are shared spaces so expect ppl to be the best and worst part. Coming in and out at all hours, smelling like smoke or boose and expect some idiot to ring the doorbell at 7am because they can't figure out how to open the door to the 2nd floor (shove door hard to open after entering code). Each guest gets a locker with key. Lockers are narrow, but fairly tall. Main reasons why I did not rate 5 stars follow: Staff was cleaning my first morning there, but they do a pretty quick/rough job. No replacement of SOAKED shower mat. The bloody handprint in the front entry gave me aprehensión. Kitchen was not open at 7am as the written hours showed, causing some residents to be unable to get the food they bought/prepped the night before for their travel.

Well one long term guest in my room was crazy was allowed to do whatever he wants like switching light on and off all night long making noice talking to himself all night. Noone told him to not do it amd after I told him multiple times to not he still was super annoying...
