Absolutely fantastic stay! Highly recommended. Everything was perfect during our stay! The hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk away from both the city center and the charming old town. Our room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which was great. The breakfast selection was huge, featuring high-quality and truly delicious options. We also made use of the gym, which is well-equipped and great for a workout. A massive plus for us was the secure, enclosed bike storage area. While the parking lot is a bit tight and narrow, it is completely adequate and does the job. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful with every single question we had. We would definitely stay here again! >

Super clean hotel located close to many restaurants and the old town. I came here on a solo cycling trip and really appreciated the secure bike room and amenities provided. Breakfast in the morning was very good and had a spread of juices, milks, fruits, yogurts, breads, pastries, hot food including eggs, bacon and more. Overall a fantastic stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Major renovation on the entrance and ground floor meant the cafe which was listed as a feature was under construction. There was no mention of the renovation at the time of booking.The roof terrace is a great feature but there was a private party on the evening we were there which occupied 80% of the space where all the best seating and views are.Felt cheated so will not return to this hotel

Just returned from a 4 night break in Girona stay at hotel gran ultonia. Took the bus from the airport to the combined bus /train station and followed the train line to the hotel, a 10 min easy walk. The reception staff are multilingual, friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious, clean and all the staff were lovely from the industrious cleaning staff to the breakfast staff. Always smiling and sociable and willing to help. The hotel is 5min from independence Square, lots of eateries, Parc devesa,a quiet oasis of calm and the old town. This hotel is a fantastic basis from which to explore girona and its surroundings. We also enjoyed the terrace on the 5th floor, such a beautiful place to enjoy an evening drink. The only negative, not enough hangers in the wardrobe!. We Would return in a heartbeat

Great location. Safe and quiet area of new town. Easy few minutes walk to the bridges/old town. Secure bike room. Excellent fresh buffet breakfast worth booking. Spotlessly clean in all areas of the hotel. Kind and friendly staff. Beautiful and trendy roof terrace bar from 6pm until late. Would recommend and would return.

Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, we were given a lovely upgraded room with a view of the cathedral. The room itself was stunning with a wonderful bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was also delicious - the location is perfect too.

Stayed for one night myself and 3 older children. Given a quad room which I thought great... nope it was a prison.. the room was so bare! No window or natural light, the off room with the twin beds absolutley nothing but beds, not even plug sockets or bedside tables.. the main room lacked anything! The beds were hard as nails and a solid headboard that even if you tried to relax on the bed with one single pillow you banged your head anyway... bathroom felt as old as my grans.. very long, out dated with shower curtain over a bath and the shower.. well, we stayed on a hot summers day so a cool shower was needed, but the shower kept turning scolding hot and burnt the kids a few times whilst in there, also me but I luckily felt when it was changing so I could move out! The only positives I can give this hotel is location and friendly staff! Would not recommend! I flew home the next day with a painful neck from the beds.

Room was not great (no window!) but ok for overnight stay. Pretty good value though especially the breakfast: local and sustainable, very little plastic. Amazing for coeliac - had a whole bread basket including cookies. Very nice staff.
