We were intrigued by the hotel’s unique museum concept based on Girona’s legends, but the experience was disappointing from the start. When we asked the receptionist about the theme, he seemed uninterested and told us, “Couldn’t tell you anything, bro.” The room looked good at first, but many things were poorly maintained. The ceiling-mounted showerhead was crooked and poorly fitted, and while showering, a piece of the ceiling fell down with a rusty nail sticking out. Fortunately, we avoided being hit. The shower controls were loose, the toilet kept running throughout the night, the balcony was marked as temporarily unavailable, and the air-conditioning vent was full of dust. Initially, the air conditioning did not work either. We wanted to report these issues to reception, both during our stay and when checking out, but there was nobody there. The concept has potential, but the poor maintenance, lack of available staff, and the safety issue made this a very disappointing stay. We will include photos documenting the problems mentioned above.

Excellent location for the old town. Spacious room and good air con. Breakfast was good quality if lacking in selection of savoury items. Fresh orange juice and really good coffee. Phone signal is a bit hit and miss. Hotel is a Salvador Dali exhibition with many paintings and statues lining the walls and breakfast area. It is also a museum of the legends of Girona. Would stay again when visiting

Unfortunately, we were forced to cancel our room due to unforeseen circumstances. To our disappointment, the hotel offers no form of goodwill, such as a partial refund or a discount on a future stay. This level of service does not meet the standards we expect from a professional hotel. We kindly request that you reconsider your position and offer an appropriate gesture of goodwill.

I loved how close everything was in proximity to the hotel with downtown Girona. The hotel was accommodating on early check in the day we arrived, which we greatly appreciated. The room was okay. The bed was hard as a rock. We both left the stay with lower back pain. The shower did have amazing water pressure and got very hot - which is always a plus. Had the bed not completely destroyed our backs - I would have completely loved this place.

The only positives are the location and the staff. Our room was dirty. The ac did not work. Our balcony was out or order and the parking was impossible. We travel frequently and base our choices on other reviews and parking if we rent a car. I have no idea how this hotel has such positive ratings. Our experience was horrible. My pictures say it all.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I liked where the hotel was located, in the historic heart of Girona. All the main monuments are fast accessible, within minutes. They have everything you need for breakfast, and the products are of good quality. For those arriving by car, there is a large free car park nearby. Opposite the hotel you will find a supermarket and many restaurants nearby. Regarding areas for improvement, they mainly concern the room. A major renovation is absolutely necessary for a hotel claiming to be four stars; we're closer to two stars. I'm not going to go into detail about the problems encountered here, but it would be good if a manager made the rounds of the rooms from time to time. Regarding the hotel's concept, specifically its theme of legends, it's not very clear. There are many ceramic pieces depicting various places, both ancient and modern, as well as busts of famous people. They appear to have been placed haphazardly, without any explanation or coherent arrangement.

The location is great and the decor and statues are interesting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was a bit weird. The lighting was really outdated and the breakfast was not worth the money (especially with so many cute cafes nearby). For 1 night it was ok but I wouldn't repeat. Also, they shut everything after 11pm but no one told us and we had to find the side entrance ourselves.

Very comfortable room, a lot of space, very clean, very friendly and polite personnel. And the location is perfect right at the entrance in Girona old town in front of the church. Great experience, thank you!
