Locating just next to Sanyo-Himeji Station through which there is a passage linking to JR Himeji Station all sheltered, and a supermarket just 120m away, can't get more convenient. The day we arrived (Mar 2026), the hotel was in the middle of a serious renovation and the lobby looked like a construction site. The nice flat TV in our room was replaced by a nicer and bigger flat TV the following day. When checking out, we couldn't believe how nice the lobby could have become. In addition to the standard hotel facilities in the room, a microwave and a fridge, this one featured a kitchenette without a stove, any cutlery and crockery. A sign in Japanese showed that a stove could be rented from the reception. Despite the relatively small bed and room, the non-smoking room we stayed was comfortable. However, the smell of cooking food from the eateries downstairs would enter the south facing room if the window was opened. As expected, staff were very polite and helpful. An exceptional hotel for a small budget especially if you get a room with the right facing!

room is great, location alsocvery near to station, about 3-5mins walk.Eventhough i booked a twins-room, extra pay of 2k yen per night is needed when 2nd person is to sleep there which i find weird

Rooms are gross! Do not meet my lowest standards! Also photos do not reflect true state of the hotel. We got room on floor 4th. Its stinks with fried, burnt food on the corridor. We asked for non smoking room but got smoking and hotel staff told us they do not have another room. There are gross stains on ceiling of a room. Floor on the corridor is also stained in front of every door which looks like hotel from horror movie. Shower curtains are yellow from smudge and whatever that is. Shower floor has yellow stains too. We cannot even open window.

It was very confusing as there are several LiveMax owned hotels in the area. We mistakenly booked this one through Orbitz. While the desk managers were very nice, the room was quite terrible. It was way overpriced for what it was. The bathroom was a step up closet which was slightly off kilter. Would be hard for any adult to balancd and maneuver in. Tiny room with no view and poor quality bedding. Be careful when booking.

We only stopped for one night in Himeji, so this sort of hotel, non-descript and cookie-cutter-ish, was just fine. The rooms were spotless, if small and somewhat charmless. For one night at a great price, this suited us just fine. The added bonus of an inexpensive self-serve laundry room on our floor was great. Great location about 10 mins from the train station and 20 mins from the castle.

The Hotel located not far from the train station, the room is a standard business hotel with all necessary items like microwave oven, small refrigerator, a work desk, a cozy bed, etc. The bath room also have a small bathtub, a hotel staff is very kind. The hotel location is not far from a local super market and Himeji castle. Great value for your money recommended.

Stayed here for a couple of nights when we were in Himeji. You are definitely paying for the location as it is close to the train station, the restaurants and walking distance from the castle. The rooms are ok, a bit run down, I think. The rooms are small. The rooms have carpet and they tend to be a bit stained. The beds are uncomfortable. The bathrooms are also very small. Our bathroom had some issues where the water would not drain, they could not fix it until the morning. Wifi is so, so. No restaurant at the hotel so, no breakfast offered.

Reasonably close to the stations. We were not made aware before arriving that the reception is not manned in the morning. As a foreigner travelling in Japan without access to mobile phones it was not easy to get hold of the off-site staff. We had to go all the way back to the JR station to use the storage locker there to leave our luggage. Had we known, we would have booked a different hotel .
