We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Mondschein for 1 week. The hotel is in an excellent location, 5 mins from the old town and right on the river. It made a wonderful base for both exploring the city and heading out to the mountains and villages for hiking expeditions. The hotel staff were all friendly, professional, efficient and very knowledgeable, providing all the additional information we needed for our trip. The room was exceptionally clean, and very comfortable with a very comfortable bed. It had all the amenities we required, and we were able to have a mini fridge for the whole week for an addition 10 euros. The breakfast was perfect and offered a range of food for all tastes and made a perfect start to each day. We were extremely happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again without hesitation if we are lucky enough to visit Innsbruck again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting Innsbruck! Patrick at the front desk was so helpful and gave us lots of recommendations for things to do and where to eat. The room was very nice with a great view of the river. The bathroom was very large. Excellent location. We walked everywhere! Breakfast in the dining room was very good! Friendly service.

Love this hotel! Great location, close to everything but quiet and easy access to walking paths along the river. Very clean and room was large - beds comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, in a beautiful room with view of river - lots of healthy choices and gluten free options. We ran out of time or would have spent some time in the super cute bar. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Mondschein. From the reception, dining room, housekeeping, to the bar, every single staff member was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive. Special thanks go to Patrick at the front desk. When we consulted him about hiking courses, he went above and beyond. He carefully explained the features of each trail, checked the day's weather forecast for us, and even provided detailed local access instructions by writing notes directly on a map. His warm and professional guidance made our hiking experience unforgettable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was exceptionally delicious, and the wonderful atmosphere throughout the hotel made us feel right at home. In addition, the hotel's location is extremely convenient as a base for exploring Innsbruck. Thank you to all the team at Hotel Mondschein for making our trip so special. We would love to visit Innsbruck again just to stay at this hotel!

I love the location of this hotel. It is immediately across the river (and next to the bridge) into Old Town Innsbruck. The staff are exceptionally helpful, assisting us in navigating public transport and offering other useful tips on getting around. The rooms are modern and nicely appointed. Breakfast, served on the first floor, is comprehensive with many options. Our room was at the front of the hotel and faced the busy street. We didn't notice traffic noise, despite the significant traffic we could see out our window. Will definitely return on our next visit to Innsbruck.

We went with our 7 and 8 year old and it was a perfect central hotel in Innsbruck. The location could not have been better, the room was great (we had the family suite) and the complimentary breakfast was not only plentiful and delicious, but it overlooked the city and was a great way to start the day. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at Hotel Mondschein met all our expectations and more. While across the bridge from the centre of old town, it was the perfect location. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to have all options of Resturants cafes and attractions available within a few minutes walk. The room was clean and well appointed, comfortable and quiet. The staff were all very friendly and the cosy little bar made for a nice finish to day with very reasonably priced drinks and lovely waitress. Thank you Angela for your good service and company. The breakfast room was nice and had a good variety on the buffet. Scrambles eggs and bacon were available to order fresh on request. |We would stay again if we have the opportunity to visit beautiful Innsbruck again.

We stayed in early February 2026. We shared a room with 3 adults (my husband and adult daughter). The room was spacious and comfortable. Great view. Excellent breakfast. So conviniently located and we loved that it was an historical building. The lift was great. The staff friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay, I wish we had longer and we hope to return one day.
