Ajit Bhawan is absolutely exceptional. This heritage property perfectly blends old-world charm with modern comfort, making it a truly unique experience in Jodhpur. The rooms are stunning – each one uniquely decorated with traditional Rajasthani elements and authentic antiques that transport you back in time. Despite the vintage aesthetic, everything was immaculately maintained and comfortable. The attention to detail in the room décor, from the handcrafted furniture to the vibrant textiles, really showcases the property's royal heritage. The food was simply outstanding. Every meal felt like a celebration of Rajasthani cuisine. The laal maas was perfectly spiced, the dal baati churma was the best I've had, and even the continental options were expertly prepared. The chefs clearly take pride in their craft, using authentic recipes and fresh ingredients. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a warm smile and helpful recommendations. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and made us feel like honored guests.

We recently stayed at Ajit Bhawan with our family, and it was truly an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the royal heritage vibe and peaceful atmosphere completely won us over. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for all of us. The lush green gardens and lovely pool area added a special charm to our evenings.|The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the food at their restaurant was simply delicious. It felt like living in a real palace while enjoying warm, homely hospitality. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Jodhpur!

Amazing, fabulous, exquisite…these words fall short to correctly define Ajith Bhawan, its ambience, its hospitality and its food quality. The staff went out of their way in welcoming a large group like ours and ensured all our requirements were met…their smile and professionalism was evident the moment you walk in till you leave the place. I will definitely be coming back here with my family in future.

Our recent one-night stay at Ajit Bhawan left us with very mixed feelings. To begin with, the property itself is beautiful. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing. The reception staff and initial hospitality were warm and welcoming, which set the tone for what we expected to be a true five-star experience. However, beyond the check-in, the experience fell significantly short. During lunch, we felt clearly overlooked. While foreign guests seemed to receive prompt and attentive service, we had to repeatedly call the staff (4–5 times) just to place an order. The food took a long time to arrive, and there was no flexibility or customization offered for children—something that is typically standard in five-star hotels. This was quite disappointing, especially since we were traveling with kids. In the evening, the situation worsened. We waited nearly 20–25 minutes without anyone attending to us. Even after raising the issue and speaking to the manager, the response from the serving staff was rude and dismissive. There was a clear lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. Another major issue was the Wi-Fi. We specifically needed it for our child’s online class, but there was no connectivity for nearly 45 minutes. By the time we were informed that there was a technical breakdown, the class had already started and we had to rely on a mobile hotspot. The lack of internet also meant we couldn’t use the TV for the kids. For a five-star property, such a basic infrastructure failure—especially without timely communication—is unacceptable. The pool facilities were also underwhelming. For a family-friendly property, the absence of proper kids’ floats or even a basic air pump was surprising. The one available float was under-inflated and not suitable for children. Dinner was another letdown—the food was excessively salty and inedible. The dessert (tres leches) was honestly one of the worst we’ve had. To their credit, the manager did meet us, apologized sincerely, and handled the situation with courtesy. Kudos to him. The next morning, at breakfast, we did receive much better service—almost a “royal treatment.” However, that raises an important point: guests should not have to complain to receive the standard level of service expected from a five-star hotel. Good service should be consistent and unbiased, regardless of whether guests are Indian or non Indian . When you are paying for a premium experience, basic attentiveness and respect should come naturally—not after escalation. Overall, while the property has great potential, the lack of staff training, inconsistent service, and basic operational gaps made this a disappointing experience. Unfortunately, based on this stay, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a true five-star experience.

Centrally located, in the midst of pristine nature. The rooms were clean, well aired and spacious. It’s a complete value for money and one of the best hotels that the city can offer
