We had such a beautiful and memorable stay at Umaid Bhawan. Excellent food, picturesque grounds, and extremely attentive service. We are especially thankful to Swaroop Singh and Sikander Singh who made our stay so memorable. We absolutely recommend the private dinner in the garden pavilion - a perfect celebration!

Our stay at Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace was truly exceptional. The property itself is absolutely stunning — peacocks in the gardens, a huge swimming pool, and exceptionally beautiful and functional suites. Every corner of the palace feels thoughtfully preserved, and being there is an experience in itself. What made our stay especially memorable was the incredible staff. Everyone we interacted with was kind and attentive. The highlight of our stay was the palace tour. It was more interesting than any visit to a fort or museum — we came away with a much deeper understanding of the royal family and the history of the palace. It added so much meaning to the experience of staying there. Overall, this was a truly unforgettable stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jodhpur.

1. Reaching here is not difficult and neither troublesome. 2. Adequate parking is available however Rs60 for 4wheeler is over priced considering it's a open space not covered. One is charging for parking in a barren land and then not claiming responsibility to look after it. 3. Entry tickets are priced at Rs 100 , considering the parking rate...entry is reasonable. Inside the palace at the visiting area nice artifacts are kept and adequately scripted for one to understand. Guide is available if you want to dig deep into history however most places are self explanatory. 4. Refreshment area is so so, nothing great to write about. Limited options on drinks. Nothing to eat. Overall it's a 1 hr planned outing.

I didn't stay inside the hotel, but visited the vintage car museum and the palace. Umaid Bhawan is one of the newest palaces built during the 1950s. The current king was only 4 years old when he was crowned as the next heir, since his father passed away in a plane crash. The palace itself is stunning! It's the same palace where Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married. Must visit if you're visiting Jodhpur.
