We have just had 3 nights staying with all of our family, to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The team at Kaikoura Waterfront Apartments went above & beyond to ensure our milestone celebration & stay were very memorable & special. When we checked in, we received flowers & a beautiful gift - both so unexpected but so very appreciated.|The 4 apartments were absolutely fabulous & catered perfectly, for our family groups.|Thank you so much to the entire team who helped make our family weekend incredibly special.

this is a family owned apartment, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. as the amenities were sufficient and the beds very of average comfort, host was very helpful when the water heater couldn't work. no strong cooking in the place to prevent smell. good for big families.

My husband and I had to travel back up Invercargill after a bereavement and chose to stay here for the night. Best decision ever. We stayed in the family room and it was excellent. Very modern and spacious. It had been warmed up for us even. Gorgeous views. Powerful shower and comfy beds. The young lady at reception was just the kindest person, and as we left she ran out to give us some chocolates (we had been talking about our bereavement and long trip home). She was a real treasure. This visit was just so good for our souls and we really appreciated everything about our visit.

Loved this spot for location, views and modern facilities. Lots of space in pur family room. Clean and everything functioned well. Great to have a dishwasher too.

My 2-bedroom apartment comes with a large living room and kitchen area, but that’s as good as it gets. The twin beds were saggy and creaky and in need of replacement. The bathroom has only a shower curtain for the shower area, and no countertop to place personal vanity items other than on the sink. The shower gel was not topped up and ran out on our last night of stay. Could not get reception to help as it was after 6 pm. Will not recommend.

We had a 2bdrm on the top floor- very good size and very tidy. It has a full kitchen which is nice when travelling, though it is close enough to restaurants in the CBD. The couple who own (?) it are very pleasant. The only issue it would have is to have small heaters in the bedrooms. The heat pump is in the big room and the heat doesn’t make it to the bedrooms.

Friendly host. Very well equipped apartment. Very clean & tidy. Very good shower room and comfortable beds. Easy access by car. Good location for Kaikoura attractions. Would definitely recommend.
