Had an amazing experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern and clean with ample amenities. Waking up to the amazing ocean view with the sunrise was an incredible experience. You are located just a short walk from the main strip which has a heap of places to eat and drink. Definitely recommend staying here, it was great.

We typically stay a bit higher end hotels but those didn’t exist in the downtown area so we tried out the Morph. The appearance from the outside made us a bit nervous but the room had a stunning view, amazing tub, and was very very clean. When we checked in on the evening of January 7th the lady who was working the desk was beyond wonderful. She was very helpful and made the experience top notch.

My stay at The White Morph was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views—truly some of the most stunning scenery I’ve ever experienced. Waking up to the ocean just outside the window was unforgettable. The customer service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to find such consistently kind and attentive hospitality—it made us feel completely at home. The location is perfect—conveniently situated for exploring the area, but peaceful and relaxing at the same time. Whether you’re in town to relax, explore, or just soak in the natural beauty, this spot is ideal. This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back!

I fell in love with Kaikoura and a big part of that was my stay here at the White Morph. Heated towel racks? Yes please. Excellent loft with comfy beds, beautiful views of the ocean, and it was so quiet! I was so sad we didn’t stay here longer. We also used the washer and dryer and they had complimentary laundry detergent at the front desk (nice little touch). The location of this hotel is just top tier.
