I stayed one night after giving a presentation at Kanazawa University. The hotel is conveniently located a short distance from the train station and super easy to find. Check in was smooth and the staff were friendly. The room was comfortable, warm, and I loved the pajamas they provided. As soon as I got to my room, I headed to the hot spring. It was nice and relaxing on a snowy day. I had a good night’s sleep and headed for another hot spring in the morning. Breakfast was pretty good but maybe not worth the extra. It’s convenient, but better value might be found in places near the station. The hotel was reasonable, comfortable, convenient, and I’d stay here again on a return to Kanazawa. Thank you Kanazawa Manten Hotel!

The room was relatively small, but it was clean. The bathroom was tight to manoeuvre. The beds were large single beds (we had requested a twin room).|The breakfast had the options of either a Japanese or western theme.|The hotel was conveniently located to the train station where there was a variety of shops and food stalls/restaurants.|For a three star hotel, we thought it was fairly good value for money.

The most impressive was Public bath at Kanazawa Manten hotel. I guarantee you will love it. The location also not far from Kanazawa station, just 5 mins walk, plenty of parking nearby.

The hotel is located on the back side of the station, so the area is fairly quiet since it’s not the main side. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, so if you want more dining options, you’ll need to go to the opposite side of the train tracks. Also, keep in mind that many restaurants around the station close around 9 p.m. The hotel serves complimentary ramen from around 9 p.m., as far as I remember, but there was a line when I checked.

The late night complementary ramen was quite good. Location is close to the Kanazawa station, about 7 minutes walk.

“I arrived at the hotel around 2:20pm, exactly as one of the staff members had instructed me to check in. Upon arrival, the front desk staff told me that no one had said that and that early check-in was not available without paying an extra fee of 550 (RD$). I found this very frustrating and confusing, as I had followed the previous staff’s advice. While I understand that early check-in is subject to availability and often comes with a fee, the conflicting information from staff made the process disappointing right from the start. Very poor experience.

Ideally located near a shopping centre and small dining places. This place had complimentary ramen from 9:30 p.m. The onsen had spa jets and located on the 2nd floor. There was a help yourself coffee machine downstairs Staff were lovely but seemed overwhelmed by the many guests, especially at breakfast, probably due unclear directions as to which queue you should join to collect your choice of breakfast. The breakfast was unusual. Breakfast options included Western or Japanese style, with designated queues for food trays. Salads were on communal tables. The room was small but nice and had a small closet, which was the only one during my trip.|Our room had a view of the train lines, allowing us to observe the various local trains. Despite the proximity to the train tracks, there was no audible noise disturbance.

Service: 10/10. The staff are warm, polite, and always one step ahead to assist with any requests
