Since it’s a four-story building with fewer rooms than a chain hotel, it’s always quiet—the elevator, breakfast area, and front desk were all quiet and efficient. The absence of group guests also made for a comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The toilet and bath were separate, and the hotel featured a high-end TOTO system bath. The communal bath was also comfortable, with few people no matter when I went. The breakfast I was looking forward to featured plenty of local specialties, including Kaga vegetables. Everything I tried was delicious. I thought it was an incredible deal to get all of this—including breakfast—for less than 17,000 yen per night for two people. There is no dinner service, but since we went out to eat at delicious restaurants in the city for every meal except breakfast, it wasn’t a problem. The shuttle bus to the station runs quite frequently, and being able to use the free lockers at Kanazawa Station—exclusively for hotel guests—both before check-in and after check-out was truly convenient and a huge help. Although it’s a bit far from the station, I didn’t feel it was a drawback. If anything, I thought the quiet location was nice. I was truly impressed by the front desk staff, the breakfast room staff, and the shuttle bus drivers—everyone was kind and always smiling. My husband seemed to really like it, too. We’d definitely love to stay here again the next time we visit Kanazawa.

This was a lovely hotel. The decor was beautiful and they had both a very nice Japanese onsen (public bath) and complimentary washing machine and dryer. The staff were all very helpful and when I asked if they had a bandaid (I got a blister with all the walking I did) they immediately produced a large container containing a large variety of bandaids and bandages. The rooms were clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. I slept very well. The breakfast buffet was very good - wide variety of food available. I would definitely stay here again if I have a chance to return to Japan.

Stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Great rooms, super clean, onsen. Suitable for children too. Laundry facilities free of charge. Excellent shuttle bus service throughout the day. Excellent breakfast and very helpful friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is quite delicious, and the facilities are complete. There are many places for guests to relax, and complimentary coffee and tea are also provided. The hotel offers free parking, indoor and open air baths, and shuttle bus service to Kanazawa Station. A large supermarket is a 10-minute walk away. The hotel staff are warm and attentive.

This hotel was a great choice for us in Kanazawa. Our family of 5 (three teenagers) fit well into a large room with beds for the grownups and futons for the kids. The included daily breakfast buffet was great. The biggest downside is the distance from town but we enjoyed a nice walk at times when the hotel shuttle wasn’t readily available (it runs on a set schedule so it was mostly just whenever our timing didn’t line up and we didn’t want to wait :)). It has a nice blend of Japanese and Western elements to add up to a very comfortable stay.

The location of the hotel is its advantage, also its weakness depends on your priorities. It’s located in a suburban street away from the hustle and bustle, about a five-minute drive from Kanazawa Station. I love it because it’s less crowded and noisy. The twin room we stayed in for two nights was very spacious. It’s clean and tidy and has all the amenities as per most Japanese hotels. The hotel breakfast was awesome. It offers a good selection of Japanese and Western-style food. The Japanese food highlights the local specialties. The onsen was also fantastic. The water was nice and hot. It also has a sauna room, a small gym room, and massage chairs. Most importantly, there are free icy poles 😋 I will stay here if I go to Kanazawa again.
