I have no words to truly express our stay at Melheim Villa, Kandy. First of all, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to every single team member at Melheim Villa for making us feel truly at home, away from home. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable and filled with beautiful memories. When we contacted the team, we requested a very simple registration ceremony with our close family and friends( as a get together ). That was all we had planned. However, what awaited us was far beyond anything we could have imagined. As I walked down the pathway to the garden, I was completely overwhelmed. The beautiful flower arrangements blended perfectly with nature, the traditional oil lamp, the heart-shaped milk rice, and every thoughtful detail created such a magical atmosphere. There were so many special touches that it’s impossible to mention them all. We planned a simple family gathering, but the Melheim team transformed it into a truly unforgettable celebration. Every member of our family had an incredible experience, and everyone is still talking about how special the day was. A very special thank you to Mr. Udaya (Manager), Ms. Anupama, and Mr. Sampath. From the very first day until the moment we left, everything was perfectly planned, beautifully coordinated, and executed with genuine care. You made our special day even more special than we had ever imagined. Out sincere appreciation also goes to the Kitchen Team, Restaurant Team, Housekeeping Team, and every staff member who contributed to making our stay exceptional. I would also like to give a special mention to the thoughtful team member who prepared the ginger and sugar remedy when I lost my voice. Without your kindness, our engagement ceremony would not have been the same. Thank you also for thoughtfully arranging prayers for both Buddha and Jesus, which meant so much to us and reflected our first priority—our faith. We had a great two-night stay here. Melheim is beautifully calm and tranquil, nestled in the hills above Kandy with beautiful views over the valley. Our room was really comfortable with a great balcony to take in the scenery. The staff were incredibly kind and generous and made us feel very welcome. Food was good, including making us a packed dinner one evening when we had plans in Kandy. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.

A lovely small resort perched on the hillside. Keep your balcony door locked when not in your room as the local monkeys will drop by for a look. Excellent friendly staff especially Thushara the food and drink waiter. Clean rooms well appointed with an amazing view of the valley. The only downside of the resort is its location. If you have your own driver its not an issue but you cant walk around locally. Happy Holidays. Thank you Experential Journeys.

I came to Melheim Kandy with my husband and my son. The hotel is truly wonderful very peaceful, and the view is perfect. The food is really delicious, and the staff are friendly. The only downside is that the road to the hotel is a bit difficult. When we returned after visiting Kandy city in the evening, my son felt unwell and vomited. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the young lady at the reception, Anupama, helped us a lot. Even at night, although the laundry was closed, we requested if they could wash our clothes since we were checking out the next day. She acted quickly and arranged everything for us. Also, the waiter who served us was very careful and fun. Thank you, Melheim!

Truly excellent service! We had a wonderful time at Melheim Kandy Hotel. The staff were very friendly and promptly attended to all our needs. The hotel environment is also very peaceful and clean. It is the perfect place for a great holiday. Highly recommended!

We had a engagement ceremony at Melhim villas kandy Today. The moment I entered the lobby till checkout moment , supervised by me . Lobby was super clean and neat.My hart was full because I entered the clean and interesting place while i have to mention the atmosphere it was super nice too it has old srilankan touch and stuffed ancient furnitures. There was a nice swimming pool with 4ft. We spent a great time at the pool premises as well.Next was the food.. Guys Tust me foods were super delicious . Hart touched one was sweetcorn with eggdrop soup. ( i had twice 😉 ) . We had verify of foods fot our Dinner and Breakfast . Specially i wanted to mention the kitchen staff . Honestly i had forgotten to ask their names. There was a tall fair in complexion boy who worked at kitchen i ask him that about the dressing for salads and he humbly answered me.. If someone who reads this comment please give my vote of thaks to him. Specially Restaurant staff. They poured warm water to us before our glass end . That was the most highlighting point . I requested their service too many times. Because my Grandma can not walk properly so i asked them to clean the plates, arrange the cutlerys ... etc. They full filled all the requirements that i asked for.. And there was a lady with curly hair i asked her to open the door for my cousins because they left the key infront of the party area. I knoe she was super tired but with smile face she opened the door for them.. This is a feild that the people who show their humble , Flexibility, humanity .. So i felt Melhim kandy villa's staff did it very well. I am recommended it to everyone specially who have a idea to stay with family because i can surly let you guys know that melhim staff will takr care your family very well. Good Job Melhim Villas.

Bra jobbat, Herr Melheim! A fantastic location hidden away from all locations! Nestled at the foothills of the Hanthana range, this is an ideal and discreet getaway. The first thing you notice is the noise; the absence of it. No chatter, no mobile phones ringing, no honking traffic... Just the whispering wind and bird song... The food and beverages were sumptuous and the menu was extensive. The pool and the beautiful architecture perfectly complimented the wonderful location. However, our greatest tribute is bestowed upon the greatest asset at this establishment; the lovely staff members! They were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. We wish to especially commend Chef Wijerathne, Mr. Thushara Chandana Daddawage, Mr. Iresh, Mr. Nissanka and the young lady at the reception for their amazing service. Kudos to the management for your excellent work ethics and staff training! We'll be back soon! Thank You & All the Very Best!
