We had a great experience staying at Oriental Swan Hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They have a wide menu of Chinese cuisine and the food was nice. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast 😋. It's conveniently located along the Mosi oa Tunya road on the way to the falls. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

It was honestly impressive how tasteless the food was, i was utterly amazed! Maybe they watered down the spice because we’re westerners, who knows, but it was so impressive how tasteless all of the food was. It’s a real shame chase this Chinese restaurant is in a nice quiet location just outside the main part of town. There’s a large courtyard and even a nice outdoor seating area. There are also a lot of vegan and vegetarian options, but nothing has any taste at all.

There's not really much in the way of frills or thrills here, but it does the job as a place to stay. The food is quite Chinese - the dinner menu has a lot of choice. Breakfast is a bit unusual by Western standards, but you wouldn't go hungry. The rooms are OK, with mosquito nets over the bed and protective curtains across the entrance doors. Staff are helpful and friendly.

There was a rat in the reception on my last night there. The receptionist wasn't shocked which worried me. There were also large cockroaches in corridors and the bedroom. The rooms are spacious and staff are polite and friendly but lack of maintenance (fumigation) lets the whole place down.

Rooms are very spacious. However the service is very bad. They act like we go there to stay for free. Their restaurant has very nice food however they are greatly overpriced. A dish is around 380 zmk. A plate of veg fried rice is around 280zmk Edit : 21/12/2024 We are told the restaurent is closed by the Chinese nationals having food in the restaurant.

cant say anything about the hotel but I have gone to the restaurant twice, once last year and once this year. last year was terrible, the waitress had no idea what she was doing and it seemed though the kitchen staff had to go on a fishing trip when I made my fish order. this year was a different story, its almost like it was a different restaurant all together. the menu was different had more options, ney, a lot more options. food was fantastic, waitress friendly. like I said once you look at the menu, you really spoilt for oriental foods.

Stayed at the Oriental Swan for 4 days while atteneding a conference. This is not a 4 star hotel. But the service was good the staff friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious and clean.The eating facilities are best described as basic.THe food was ok.And the yes, the remote control for the AC was in Chinese. The wifi worked fine which is a deal breaker for me. If you are looking for economical base of operations for a budget friendly visit to Livingstone and Victoria falls this is worth looking at. I booked through Expedia and it was seemless. So 4'stars for what it is.
