We had a wonderful stay at the Galaxy Hotel Macau. A special thank you to Peter, who gave us a great tour of the room and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. His excellent hospitality made us feel right at home.

I really enjoyed the artificial beach at Galaxy Hotel in Macau. It’s called the Grand Resort Deck, and honestly, it feels like a tropical paradise even though it’s man-made. The beach has real white sand, which is super soft and nice to walk on. The waves are created by machines, so they roll in gently every few minutes. It’s not like the ocean, but still super fun, especially for kids or people who just want to relax without worrying about strong currents. There’s also a big lazy river and some cool water slides nearby. The whole area is very clean and well-maintained. You can rent towels and loungers easily. The only downside is that it can get crowded, especially on weekends. Also, it’s not cheap if you’re not a hotel guest, because you may need a day pass. But overall, it’s a great place to chill, take nice photos, and have fun in the water. I’d say it’s worth a try if you’re in Macau and miss the beach!

One of the most impressive luxury resorts in Macau. The scale of the hotel and the entire complex is huge, with countless restaurants, shopping options, and entertainment all in one place. The highlight is definitely the Grand Resort Deck with its massive wave pool and tropical-style atmosphere — it feels more like a luxury beach resort than a city hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the service throughout the property is excellent. Even if you’re not visiting for the casino, it’s a great place to relax, walk around, and enjoy the resort vibe. Definitely one of the most memorable stays in Macau. We stayed in different hotels in Macau but staying in Galaxy Hotel was definitely the best decision. I swear we experienced an excellent service since the moment we stepped in. Totally exceeded our expectations. Having Filipino staff to welcome and assist guests is this hotel’s best decision because they are kind, warm, and always approachable. Staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amenities ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My 2 year old daughter enjoyed Galaxy Kidz. We were able to use JW Marriott’s Kids club too. Pool was heated. Sadly, the grand deck was closed during winter time but it’s a reason to come back! ✔️✔️✔️ Special mention to Mr. Lorenzo of housekeeping & Mr. Trevor of lobby assistance. They always make sure we are assisted well. We had a very memorable stay and we will be back! Galaxy is now our top choice for macau hotels.

Firstly this place is massive and has about 10 different entrances so if you’re planning on meeting someone there make sure you tell them which tower which entrance? It’s really good to walk around and get your 10,000 steps in to be honest when I stayed at this hotel I easily hit my 10,000 tips a day because I was just walking around between the towers. They even have an entire shopping mall and a huge shopping complex inside here. They also have a big cinema as well which is a bonus. If your legs get tired you can sit down and watch a movie. The casino is huge and the staff are very friendly. I have visited all of the hotels in this area and I can see that galaxy is one of my favourites because of the theme the atmosphere and it never really feels busy because of how busy is it big it is some of the other casinos can feel quite claustrophobic and quite loud. The galaxy is so vastly spread out and never feels busy. The rooms that sell for a bit overpriced for what you get but I guess it comes with the amenities

A casino hotel. Rooms are a bit dated, probably need a refresh soon. If your holiday is either all about gaming at the casino or using their pool facilities, then it’s a good choice. However, it’s mostly reserved for gaming guests on weekends, quite hard to book using travel platforms or other routes.

Terrible customer service & unprofessional security experience I was walking around Galaxy Macau and waiting outside the casino area with my baby in a stroller for my family to come out. Since my baby had been waiting for quite a while and the surrounding area was very noisy, I squatted down next to the stroller to talk to him — I couldn’t hear him at all if I stood up, and I was clearly not sitting or resting on the ground at any point. A security guard named Michael approached me abruptly and told me to stand up, saying “it’s our rule” and claiming I was sitting on the ground. I immediately told him I was not sitting at all and asked him to check the surveillance cameras to confirm the truth. He offered no explanation, just repeated his demand. When my husband came out, Michael completely ignored me and started speaking only to him. I asked him directly: “Why won’t you talk to me? You were the one who approached me and said I couldn’t sit here — please check the cameras!” Only then did he realize he was wrong, and he immediately changed his story entirely — suddenly saying he only told me to stand up and never actually said I was sitting down. He tried to twist his own words to cover his mistake. Soon after, his supervisor arrived. Michael rushed to explain his side but continued distorting what happened, never addressing my question or apologizing properly. He gave a very casual, insincere “sorry” and tried to walk away immediately, acting as if nothing serious had happened. This was extremely disappointing. I was a guest with a small child, trying to communicate with my baby in a loud environment, and I was treated rudely, wrongly accused, and then met with excuses and zero accountability when it became clear I did nothing wrong. The way they ignored me, changed their story, and refused to give a proper apology shows a total lack of respect for visitors and very poor professional standards. I expected much better from Galaxy Macau, and this experience has left a very bad impression.
