We stayed for one night at Spazio Gagarin during our visit to the beautiful city of Matera, and we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is modern and well maintained, with comfortable rooms equipped with a coffee machine and all the modern amenities needed for a convenient stay. Everything felt clean, new, and thoughtfully designed. Although the hotel does not offer breakfast, this was not an issue for us considering the overall quality and comfort of the stay. The location is excellent, situated in a quiet and pleasant residential neighborhood, while still being only about a 10-minute walk from Matera’s stunning old town, making it very easy to explore the city on foot. Overall, a great place to stay in Matera: modern, comfortable, quiet, and perfectly located. We highly recommend it!

We stayed for 2 nights, perfect location and within walking distance of the old town area. Pietro was extremely helpful on our arrival, advising of the area and allowing us entry to our rooms slightly earlier. Parking was available within a small gated carpark at the back of the hotel. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would absolutely book again.

The rooms are big and very clean and very good bed.|Good Wifi.|Also the friendly concierge helped us very good with some proposals for dinner.|Location is +- 15 from the sassi and main square. Parking in the street is possible although residence has parking to be payed.|For the price, you would expect that breakfast is included, but the residence has no services.

We had a delightful time with our friends staying at the Spazi Gargin Residence. The location, cleanliness, the welcoming staff and amenities nearby were all excellent. We wanted to extend our day. Highly recommend ❤️ Take the time to do a walking tour of Matera😊

The hotel was clean, modern, and very quiet. The staff was so kind and informative. They were always available to help us answer all our travel questions. The hotel was close to coffee shops, restaurants, and city sites. We ended our days with wine on the terrace which, was very peaceful. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Matera.

The hotel was very clean, modern, and tranquil. The Spazio Gagarin staff were very welcoming, kind, and informative. It was in a great location, about 5 min walk to coffee & pastry shops. 10 min walk to shops, restaurants, and the city sites. The hotel was the perfect spot to retreat and share a bottle wine on the terrace at night. Great place to stay in Matera!

Rooms are very comfortable and well-designed. Near the center and of places of interest. Parking is an extra for 15€ per night.

Everything was great about this hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious, and new. Location is good. 10- 15 minute walk to Sassi. Service was excellent
