Hotel is in a good location, close to the station. Hotel needs updating. Carpets in hallways are ripped and quite dangerous. The horrible smell of stale smoke was evident throughout the whole hotel. Lounge floor rooms offer good bonus privileges.|Breakfast option were satisfactory. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Free Shuttle bus is definitely a bonus.

I stayed here for two days in early April 2026. It is quite near the Matsumoto station and there are ample parking lots for guests that drive. The parking cost 1100¥ per day and offers multiple re-entry.The room was abit dated but big. The air-conditioning wasnt as cold but the hotel staff was very nice to bring extra fan, and due to the cold spring nights, it was still quite comfortable sleeping at night with the windows ajar.The breakfast was normal with limited variety, okay if the price to book with or without breakfast is the same. I must commend the hotel front desk conceige Mr Hisamoto (hope i got his name right), he was super friendly, spoke good english and provided me good recommendations on where to go for sakura viewing. He also provided free onsen passes to another hotel under the same group (there is also free shuttle bus there). All in all excellent service.Will recommend a stay if you are looking for a good hotel near Matsumoto station

We stayed here for one night on our Japan tour. We were allocated a room on the 7th floor with stunning views of the Alps.|The room was small but clean. The hotel has its own patisserie with a good selection. I found the bathroom/toilet quite small and restrictive.|It has its own restaurant and there are several places for dining nearby.|The breakfast had a good selection of Japanese and western dishes.|The staff were all polite and helpful.

In the second day of hotel, we planned out trip to the castle, shopping street, and the Japanese alps area. So we had breakfast early and went to the station to meet our guide. After coming back from the trip, we took taxi again to the hotel. When we booked our trip to the station from the hotel, we realized that the hotel provided frequent trips to and from the station. As we were tired, we went to onsen, which was provided by the hotel. It was a free service or included in the stay, I think. The onsen is located in another big hotel and the bus ride took 30 minutes. There were many people from many hotels going together to the onsen hotel. The onsen was pretty big, two indoor pools and two outdoor pools. We enjoyed the warm water and relaxed. The bus brought us back to the hotel at 9 pm. The hotel gave new towels and other supplies in the door of our room as we didn’t have a cleaning service in the morning. Anyway, the hotel restaurant is good and the free shuttle bus service is exceptional as no reservation was necessary. I will visit this hotel again when we travel to Matsumoto next time.

We loved the fantastic free breakfast that features local items, traditional Japanese breakfast foods and western ones as well. Yum! Easy walk to Matsumoto station (less than 10 minutes), although hotel also has a shuttle bus. Clean rooms with a little seating area and a small table. Great hotel!

Summary: Modern functional hotel well located for the town centre. Bedroom: Clean and tidy. Decor is quite old fashioned and dark. Comfortable bed. Aid con not very effective. Wi-Fi speed OK. Water, tea and coffee making facilities. Tissues. Safe Bathroom: Japanese automatic toilet. Shower over bath with curtain. Good water pressure. No mirror lighting. Average towels. Limited towel drying. Good toiletries Breakfast: Good choice and quality Location & Accessibility: 10 min walk from railway and bus station. Area felt very safe Check-in/out was simple and fast with welcoming smiles

Fantastic. Great breakfast (especially fresh omelettes). Shuttle bus to station always waiting. Room was big with splendid bathroom. Staff are so polite and helpful. Price about average for quality & facilities. Highly recommend.

Location is perfect for us who arrived by train would pick up a car rental at Toyota rent a car as it is in the middle of these two places. However for those who would use the train a lot, maybe a bit walking. Services are excellent. Room is big by Japanese standard. Highly recommended.
