Why go?
Wisata My Dream is a family-friendly recreational park in Sungai Mawang, Kapuas District, just outside the town of Sanggau in West Kalimantan. Built around a pool-and-playgrounds concept and wrapped in cool greenery, it is one of the regency's most popular weekend escapes — a place where kids splash in dedicated pools while adults relax among treehouses, photo spots and food stalls.↗↗
Opened in 2019 and inaugurated by the Vice Regent of Sanggau, My Dream grew from a simple swimming-pool site into a full "modern-natural" attraction that keeps the surrounding landscape at its heart. It is the kind of laid-back spot locals bring children to on a hot afternoon, and travellers passing along the Sanggau–Pontianak highway can easily stop for a few hours.↗↗
What makes it special
The attraction was created by owner Paulus Ugang to answer local demand for a place to unwind, and his idea was to let nature do the entertaining without paving it over. The result is a park that feels deliberately green and airy — visitors repeatedly describe the setting as calm, clean and pleasantly cool ("adem"), a welcome change from the heat of town.
