AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Set high in the woods of the Piani dei Resinelli plateau above Lecco, Jungle Raider Park is a treetop adventure park where suspended courses run through century-old trees on wooden walkways, Nepalese bridges and zip-lines. Eight routes are graded by height and difficulty, so a three-year-old's first wobbly steps and an adult flying 15 metres above the forest floor can happen on the same afternoon.↗↗↗
The park relocated to this striking mountain setting from its former Margno site, trading a generic woodland for a panoramic ledge on the Lombard Prealps – within easy reach of Lecco, the shores of Lake Como and a day-trip radius of Milan. On the ground below the ropes, the old mining galleries of the plateau add an underground twist that makes the visit more than just a high-wire playground.↗↗
A course for every level of nerve
The heart of the park is its progression of eight tree-bound routes, each defined by how high the platforms climb and how technical the obstacles become. The difficulty rises gradually with the height of the platforms and the complexity of the crossings between the trees, so you can start gently and work up.
