LaStrange Lake
LaStrange Lake is a small, easygoing inland lake tucked into Lincoln Township in central Michigan. At just 13.4 acres with roughly 0.6 miles of shoreline, it is the kind of quiet freshwater pond that rewards a slow visit rather than a packed itinerary: a walk along the bank, a paddle across still water, or an afternoon spent casting a line from a small boat or the shore. Set low on the landscape at about 235 feet above sea level, it sits among the patchwork of farms, woodlots and small lakes that make up Michigan's Lower Peninsula countryside. Its modest scale and lack of crowds give it a relaxed, local-character feel, well suited to families and anglers who prefer an unhurried day out of doors.
