Jai Veer Hanuman Vatika
Tucked into the Shastri Nagar neighbourhood of Bikaner, Jai Veer Hanuman Vatika is a small, community-run Hindu temple devoted to Lord Hanuman. Rather than a grand monument, it is a working local shrine prized for its calm, devotional atmosphere and a striking, tall statue of the warrior-deity at its heart. Its real character shows at festival time: every year the temple stages a two-day Hanuman Janmotsav (Hanuman Jayanti) that draws the whole mohalla, with panchamrit abhishek, mass recitals of the Hanuman Chalisa, and an evening of bhajan and devotional performance. For a peaceful daily darshan or a glimpse of neighbourhood religious life, it is a worthwhile stop within Bikaner.
