Tarihi Kula Evleri
The Historic Kula Houses are the beautifully preserved Ottoman-era residential heart of Kula, a town in Manisa Province in western Turkey. Often called a living museum, the old quarter features approximately 1,200 registered historical buildings—timber-framed mansions with carved wooden bay windows, ornate eaves, and high-walled courtyards—making it one of the finest surviving examples of 18th-century Ottoman urban domestic architecture anywhere in the country. Listed as both a museum and a tourist attraction, this destination is a cultural site within the Kula–Salihli UNESCO Global Geopark, where human heritage and extraordinary volcanic landscape coexist within a few kilometres of each other.
