Adney Lake
Adney Lake is a small, spring-fed lake in Crow Wing County on Minnesota's north-central cottage-country map, just off the Crosby and Effie corridor in the Northern Lakes region. Roughly 310 acres and gently shallow, it has built a reputation less for spectacle than for calm, clear water and an unhurried pace—the kind of lake locals protect fiercely and visitors leave feeling rested. Anglers come for a classic mixed northern fishery—walleye, northern pike and both largemouth and smallmouth bass, with crappie and bluegill for easy family fishing. Paddlers, pontoon crews and shoreline campers value the same thing: a tranquil lake where, on most days, the loudest sound is a pair of resident loons calling across the water.
