Fuente de la Piedra Escrita
The Fuente de la Piedra Escrita (Fountain of the Written Stone) is a baroque public fountain built in 1721 at the intersection of streets Moriscos, Costanillas, and Cárcamo in central Córdoba. Widely considered one of the city's most artistic fountains, its façade resembles a miniature altarpiece with twin marble lions, a broken arch, and the coat of arms of Córdoba crowning the composition. The fountain has been a neighborhood landmark for three centuries, celebrated in local literature and beloved by Cordobeses who still stop to drink from its spouts.
