Caño Charco del Indio
Caño Charco del Indio is a small waterway in the cattle-ranching plains of Puerto Lleras, a municipality in the Meta department of Colombia's Eastern Plains (Llanos Orientales). Like dozens of other caños — the local term for narrow, slow-moving streams — it threads through savanna and gallery forest before feeding into the wider drainage network of the Río Ariari basin. This is not a formalized tourist stop. It is a rural landscape feature that gives its name to a local road and appears on official geological maps of the Puerto Lleras area. Visitors passing through the Bajo Ariari subregion may encounter it en route between the town and its outlying veredas (rural hamlets).
