Sudoshihachimangu Shrine
Sudoshi Hachimangu Shrine (洲到止八幡宮) is a small, beloved neighbourhood Hachiman shrine in Ōshimachō, Toyonaka, Osaka — founded in 1758 by enshrining the spirit of Iwashimizu Hachimangū and dedicated to Emperor Ōjin and Empress Jingū. Locals know it simply as Ōshima Shrine, and its approach path doubles as a community park where swings and climbing frames sit under the torii's shadow. It sits on the old river-crossing land beside the Kanzaki River, where a ferry once ran; a stone marking the vanished landing lies just by Kanzaki Bridge. Today it is a quiet, easy stop for prayers for victory and good fortune, reached in about an eight-minute walk from Hankyu's Kanzakigawa Station.
