Chùa Minh Đăng
Minh Dang Pagoda (Chùa Minh Đăng) is a small, warmly led Buddhist temple in the rural hamlet of Thọ Khương in Tiền Giang's Mekong Delta countryside. Built on land donated by a devoted lay family, it has grown from a humble practice spot into a recognised monastery under the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha, and was formally granted its first appointed abbess in late 2024. Unlike grand tourist temples, Minh Dang offers visitors an intimate glimpse into everyday village Buddhism — a place where local families come to chant, make offerings, and share meals. Its peaceful setting among rice paddies and canal-side paths reflects the unhurried rhythm of Delta life.
