Tungaw Tungaw Trail
Tungaw Tungaw Trail is a grassy hiking path climbing the slopes of Mayon Volcano in the barangay of Tinobran, Camalig, Albay — named after the wild Philippine raspberry (Rubus rosifolius) locally called tungaw-tungaw that thrives on these volcanic hillsides. Unlike the heavily trafficked routes around the volcano's base, this is a local trail where the grass still covers the ground undisturbed by quarrying, giving hikers an intimate, unfiltered encounter with the terrain that makes Mayon one of the world's most perfect volcanic cones.
