Notre dame du calvaire de la Désirade

A small blue-and-white chapel perched at 200 metres above Beauséjour, Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire is both the final station of La Désirade's Way of the Cross and the island's most spectacular belvedere. Built in 1905 and still an active place of devotion, it rewards the steep climb with a 360° panorama stretching from Petite-Terre to Grande-Terre and, on clear days, all the way to Basse-Terre.
