Emir Sultan Hazretleri Türbesi
The Emir Sultan Tomb sits atop a hill in the eastern quarter of Bursa, marking the resting place of one of the most venerated Sufi saints of the early Ottoman period. Emir Sultan (1368–1429), a Bukharan scholar who married the sultan's daughter and became a spiritual pillar of the young Ottoman capital, lies here beside his family in an octagonal domed mausoleum. The site draws both pilgrims and curious travelers, and the surrounding complex—with its spacious courtyard mosque, historic hamam, and sweeping views over the city—is one of Bursa's most atmospheric corners.
