Nasu Wan Wan WorldZoo

Nasu Wan Wan World

Nasu Wan Wan World (わんわんワールド / 那須わんわんワールド) was a dog-themed leisure complex set in the green highlands of Nasu, in Tochigi Prefecture. Rather than a conventional zoo, it was built around dogs: a spacious dog run, petting plaza, puppy village, pet hotel, grooming salon and a lakeside stroll course, all tucked into one leafy site. Today the facility is permanently closed and no longer welcomes visitors, but its story explains why dog-loving families once drove out to this corner of the Nasu resort area. If you are planning a trip to Nasu hoping to visit, the practical headline is simple: this one is gone. The good news is that the surrounding district is packed with open animal attractions and dog-friendly spots, so the trip itself is still well worth making.
