Bori Pahar
Bori Pahar is a low hill rising to 332 metres in the rural Bundelkhand uplands of Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh. The name translates simply as "Bori Hill" in Hindi, and the peak sits amid a cluster of small granite and sandstone ridges — including nearby Kothi Pahar and the Mutina Hills — that give the otherwise flat agricultural plain a broken, undulating character. Dikoli Protected Forest lies close by, lending the hill a green backdrop that is unusual for this semi-arid stretch of central India. This is not a trekking destination in the conventional sense. It is a quiet topographic feature best appreciated by travellers exploring the backcountry between Khajuraho and the Panna Tiger Reserve, where scattered hills and scrub forest reveal a landscape rarely seen by tourists heading straight for the famous temple towns.
