Les Têtes
Les Têtes is a 2,247-metre limestone shoulder in the Vaud Alps, sitting high above Bex in a protected landscape shared by the Diablerets massif, the Vallon de Nant and the Grand Muveran hunting reserve. Quiet and uncommercial, the summit rewards a walk with a sweep of some eighty peaks and a glacier on clear days — one of the most expansive panoramas in this corner of Switzerland for the effort it takes to reach. It belongs to hikers, wildlife watchers and slow travellers who come to the Bex Alps for open terrain and silence rather than lift lines. Snow usually clears from the top between June and September, so the summer window is short and the views at their best then.
